I always kinda thought Chip looked a little like a chao... then this comic happened! (Not a reincarnation situation or anything, just a chao that looks like Chip in the same way that some chao can look like Sonic, Knuckles, Amy etc.)

It was never about chivalry for me...

The second of my final animations for my 3D Animation 2 class, where I was allowed to animate whatever I want as long as I had a rig for it. I was a bit short on time after animating a Mewtwo wielding three swords, so I decided to go the simpler route and take a shot at some acting during dialogue using Sonic and the Black Knight. This is one of the quintessential Sonic lines to me, and it was fun to bring it to life over the course of a few days.

I like how romance is handled in Sonic officially, he can love someone, even more than one person, but won't ever commit to a serious relationship with them. It fits Sonic's character imo.

He's been hinted to love both Amy and Elise (Trial of love being a big one) but wasn't in a serious committed relationship with either.

That's just how Sonic is. He does as he feels.

I can agree with this! Sonic doesn't seem to mind romance (he's just a little shy about it) but he doesn't actively pursue it either. he's perfectly happy where he is in life! a committed relationship isn't something he needs.
