man i remember artfight actually managing to survive the first day with little to no crashing last year but this year the day 1 crashing is the worst ive seen in a while ....

#like it crashed instantly at the start time and it took me a couple hours to be able to get on the site but it was still running really slow #and then it stayed running really slow for a few more hours and then it stopped working again.#like as soon as i finally actually had time to sit here and draw/browse the site. and now im gonna have to go to bed soon #ugh whatever mannnn at least itll probably get better within the next couple days #also the virtual waiting room thing thats popped up just now sucks i left the tab open and waited #and then when i finally got in i only got to look for like 5 seconds before it crashed again.#like ok whats even the point in doing the waiting room thing if i still cant use the site once it gets to me

my mom put on the first sonic movie to watch while we were eating dinner and at one point she was like "have you noticed that they make sonic different shades of blue sometimes. its kinda crazy" <- she doesnt know that theres people having entire online arguments about this

#also she kept making comments about how she doesnt realy like cartoons she only likes this version of sonic #and i was just like: *insert that one reaction image of the guy digging his nails into his thighs*#i mean i get it. totally valid to not care about kids cartoons/games at her age. and shes just trying to connect with me or whatever. but #tje sonic fan in me is like wdym theres so many better pieces of sonic media out there and this is the only one youre willing to watch

was hoping id be able to beat the new deltarune chapter today because im not gonna get another chance to play until tomorrow night and im gonna be thinking about it nonstop until then but that doesnt seem like its going to happen. sad ! oh well
