You step into your home, dropping the keys onto the shelf, too tired to put them away. A few sluggish steps into the living room and you sigh, rubbing your eyes and trying to stifle a yawn and failing.
You feel strong arms wrapped around your waist as a solid block of warmth pushes up against your back.
Arching back into it, you sigh in comfort and contentment. So silent, you never even heard him, years of practice had perfected his stealth into a prowling panther.
Leon hums next to you ear as you lean your neck back onto his strong shoulders.
"Long day?" He asks, kissing your cheek, the bridge of his nose brushing up against your skin.
You nod, lifting one arm up to wrap around the back of Leon's neck, fingers threading into his hair.
"Let me take care of you..." Leon whispers into your ear, rocking you two back and forth before his hand starts sliding downward...
Leon doesn't have to be riding away from hordes of monsters to drive well over the speed limit. His foot on the accelerator but his mind on your lips, Leon has one mission... To feel your body flush with his, his fingers running through your hair as he kisses you breathless, all while backing you into the nearest flat surface.
Leon wasn't sure he could remember the exact moment you met, but he definitely remembered the first training mission you two were on. You were a little shameless, and he liked it. Though it was mildly inappropriate at the time since you were so fresh in the job, and he had years on you, he found he looked forward to your banter when he saw your name on the deployment list.
But then something happened after the first biohazard mission. You had changed. Which was understandable, he had changed after the events of Raccoon City. You could never be the same after witnessing the things you did on a daily basis.
But it was different for you than himself or others. You were practically climbing the walls to get away from shaking a senator's hand or a defense contractor. Avoiding certain training situations. Never allowing a hand up to a higher location or a hug from a friend.
You two weren't always on the same tactical teams but when a well working team trained for these situations was needed, you two were fated to be set on the same mission. Countless hallways you two had walked down, guarding each other's backs, eliminating threats by whatever means necessary.
But as soon as you were far enough away from immediate danger in the extraction helicopter/vehicle, you'd shut down, as if you were trying to make yourself smaller, so no shoulders would rub in close quarters.
After your last mission, you were practically catatonic.
The elevator dinged and opened, bringing him back to the present.
Leon strutted in, bag over his shoulder surprised to see you trying to figure out how to do a backflip off a wall.
He quietly put his bag down, and watched your form intently.
You were so focused on in figuring it out, you hadn't even heard him come in.
You'd watched Leon do this once on a mission and in the back of your mind you had always wanted to try it.
You couldn't seem to land it, you'd always fumble. Who knew when you would need to do a backflip off a wall while two chainsaws came at you from both sides.
After the last session with Leon, you realized your boss was right. Which was pretty annoying as you didn't want to agree with anything that office bound paper pusher thought. You're hand to hand combat was lacking. The more you thought about it, your agility could use some improvement as well. You were quick with great reflexes but it wasn't the same as you saw in Leon. But then Leon had spent years training to mold him into the special agent he is today.
The more time you spent with Leon, the more you thought about his skills in close quarters combat. You could learn so much, let his wisdom and expertise wash over you. Drench you with his deep...
Oh, there it went again..
KNOWLEDGE! You were going to say knowledge! You tried to convince yourself.
Trying to shake those feral thoughts that just wouldn't stay down, you gave up on the wall and started practicing back flips over the mat.
"Someone's eager..." Leon said.
You tumbled as you were surprised by his sudden appearance.
"Seems like you have that down, there are just a few things..."
He talked about correct form, pointing where you needed to bend a little more.
He had you do a flip while he looked you up and down, eyes lingering on your hips for a second too long.
"Here, let me help you." He said.
Placing his hands on your stomach, Leom guided you in the correct form, talking about engaging your core when you bend over.
Not the only thing you wouldn't mind bending over for...
You froze for a second, embarrassed by your wandering thoughts. Leon mistook that for stubbornness and added.
"Please..."
The way it came out of his lips made you want to melt and succumb to anything Leon said next.
"Now, try again."
You did a backflip as he spotted you. You landed it well.
"Better."
"What are you, my tumbling coach?" You muttered.
As Leon crouched down on one knee, placing his hands on your legs and shifting then a little bit forward and left. Pulling down on your thighs to make you bend your knees a little more.
You felt his hand lingering on one thigh as your face grew warmer from the prolonged contact.
"I haven't been someone's 'tumbling coach' for a while. I might need some help reminding me how it works..." Leon said, blue eyes looking up at you through his eyelashes, his hair partially covering one eye.
It was at that moment, you realized, you had stopped thinking of his hands as anything other than the touch of a human. A very attractive human. A man! A man with one hand on your thigh that you wished would go higher...
And in that moment time stood still as you looked into each other's eyes. Yours wide, cheeks flushed, his playful with a slight smirk.
It was so warm in there and the air felt heavy with temptation. Leon was waiting for you to say something...
But right then, the doors in the back opened up and Chris Redfield and a few of his agents walked in.
And you let out a horrified scream/shout of panic. Leon instantly released your leg in surprise and you started running for the stairwell.
"Y/N!" Leon called out, trying to stop you.
What an embarrassing position to be caught in!
You heard Chris's booming voice grow quieter as you hurtled down the stairs, practically hopping over the bannisters to get down faster.
"There you are!" They've made me walk all over this building to find you." Chris said, annoyed.
"You know you can just call. That little metal thing with the glowing light? It's more than just a door stop." Leon replied, annoyed as well, moving to the stairwell where you had disappeared.
"I have! You've been ignoring it." Chris said. "It's important..."
Leon let out an exasperated noise, giving in and letting you go. For now...
Leon knows how looking into his light blue eyes turns you on so much. So he always makes sure you can see each other when getting intimate. Besides all he wanted to do was look at you when he was inside you. Eye contact was something that was always super Important to him. He'd always tell you to open your eyes and look at him if you ever dared to shut them...
"We'll start with something nice easy..." Leon said as you circled around each other on the practice mats.
"Nice and easy... right..." You and Leon had two very different ideas of nice and easy. You tried not to think too hard about the position you were in and tried to focus on a corner of the ceiling.
Not working.
All you could think about how his thighs were wrapped around you as he pinned you to the ground. You strained against him trying to get free. But he just moved his thigh up higher and harder.
No, that's just making it worse! You thought, exasperated with yourself. Leon's firm body wrapped around you, immobilizing you with years of experience.
His lips too close to your ear as he huffed from the effort of restraining you.
Ten years ago you would be shamelessly arching into it. But now, the feeling of his hot body pressed up against you as he grunted against you.... The sounds...
OMG, you couldn't stop thinking about it!
Thinking back to how you got into this.... position.
When you arrived in the training room, there were a few people working on their combat on the other side of the room.
"Oh great," you wallowed in self pity, "I get an audience to my humiliation.
Leon took off his jacket, unclipped his holster, and slid out of his shoes. He walked onto the mat and cracked his neck, waiting for you to join him.
Fuuuu.... You stopped yourself.
You followed suit, joining him on the mat.
A few sparring pairs in the back of the room started to pretend to fight or to stop to stretch and drink water. You weren't stupid, you knew they were eyeing Leon.
"Not every mission is against hordes of mutated lifeforms, sometimes you'll need to defeat regular human counter agents." Leon said.
"Isn't that what our firearms are for?" You said, trying to argue your way out of this...
He shook his head at you. "You can't always rely on having access to a firearm."
He grabs a wooden gun prop and tosses it to you. You catch it easily and point it at him before dropping your arms to your sides.
"Shoot me." He says standing right in front of you. Obeying, you raise your arms back up and then you're not quite sure what happened. One second you're aiming at him, the next Leon's grabbed your arm, disarming you and pulling you into a headlock. His well formed bicep squeezes your throat making you gasp for air.
And then a second later he lets go and you fall to your knees gasping. "How can a man pushing 50 be that fast! You thought," grabbing your throat as you sputter and cough.
"Again," Leon says. Tossing the gun at your feet.
You go to shoot him and he grabs your arm, swipes your leg with his and topples you to the ground, your arm pulled back in an uncomfortable position. You knew if he pressed it just a little more, a horrible popping sound was going to happen. But Leon was controlled and calm, he knew exactly how far he could push his target.
He lets go and stands back up, turning his head to the side to hide his face. He was smiling. The bastard was enjoying this!! Annoyed you threw the gun to the side and raised your fists, getting into a defensive stance.
Leon comes at you but this time you're prepared, you side step him and deflect his first blow. You manage to evade his next attack and go to kick him but he catches your leg and pulls you to him. Off balance, you feel yourself falling. Leon twists you, flipping you around onto the mat land, knocking the air out of you. He sits on your ass, on leg on either side of you, immobilizing you, one firm hand pushing on your back.
He was way too fast. And way too warm. And his legs fit too easily around you...
You felt yourself getting way too warm and try to scrabble out from under him.
He lets up a little, letting his prey escape just enough to keep the fight going.
You slide out enough to push Leon away to crawl to your knees before he pulls you back in.
You were both on your knees, his hard body flush against yours. One arm wrapped around your neck, your hands grasping at his bicep, trying to release his hold.
Tapping on his arm, giving in, Leon lets his arm trail down to your shoulder, keeping you close.
"You know, I have had training for this..." You gasp out.
You feel his lips graze against you, in what you could imagine as a grin. Moving his lips up to your ear, Leon breathes, "Show me then..."
Something lurched in your stomach and you found yourself for the first time wishing you were locked in a room with screaming creatures.
Alright, that's enough for today. Leon says, pulling his holster back on, giving you a delicious view of his back before he covered it with his jacket.
He had had his way with you for enough today. He needed to save some play time for later...
"You go on ahead..." You call out from the mat, lying like a starfish, sweat running off you after several hours of what felt like futile attempts at defense.
Leom decided not to push it, letting you lay there while he walked out of the training room.
Finally alone, you rolled over to your stomach and screamed into the mat.
How were you supposed to handle another day of his body pressed up against yours.... His hard muscular frame. His hot hard....
All you could think about was the way his legs wrapped around you and the feeling of his breath on your neck.
If the embarrassment didn't get you first, those thighs were going to be the death of you...
Blood draws were just part of the game. Go on a mission with mutated creatures. Blood draw. Go on a mission with parasite infected people. Blood draw. Go on a mission purely against standard non enhanced humans. Blood draw.
Even that one short vacation you had?! Blood draw.
At this point you didn't see why they couldn't just put a spigot in you and call it good.
It wasn't even the needles that bothered you, it was the monotony of it. The constant waiting for the all clear. Doctors and lab techs coming in and out, the jabbing, flashing lights in your eyes, the constant questions! You just wanted to go home, pull all the locks across your door and curl up under the covers.
Unfortunately for you, it had been a busy week for the DSO and task forces from several missions were all returning at the same time, stretching the medical team thin.
It was so busy that the agency had to commandeer a sizeable part of a military base just to accommodate.
They were still pulling up tents when your helicopter first landed.
You were in a tent, waiting for the all clear when two soldiers came in and said that they were ready to transport you to the temporary holding for observation. The rest of your team was just landing in the second helicopter, and they needed that tent.
Marching you out, you expected to turn left to one of the permanent facilities on the base, but you were stopped as another group of soldiers were arguing with yours.
"That one's full." You heard one say to the other.
"Well, where the hell you want me to stick this one then?" The sergeant in charge of you, complained.
"Just stick her in section B2. I'm tired and shift change should have been twenty minutes ago. Another thing being pushed back." He grumbled.
"But we're not supposed to mix different task forces! They have completely different levels of contamination risks." The other soldier voiced his concerns. A man for protocol, that one.
"Oh who cares, she looks fine. And if she's not, it's not like they can't handle themselves." The other soldier brushed off the others concerns.
By this point you could not give a fuck, you just wanted to lie down.
After arguing it out, protocol man gave in and the other squad led you into the tent before going back to guarding the perimeter.
"Finally," you grumbled, walking through decontamination zone and into the holding area, "These wait times are becoming atrocious..." You trailed off as you caught sight of the DSO's pride and glory.
Leon S. Kennedy...
Slow jazz started to play in the back of your mind as Leon lifted his head to look up at you before his attention was pulled back to the medical assistant checking his heartbeat a little too intently.
Your heart fluttered at the sight of him and you felt a little light headed. Or maybe that was just from the blood loss when they tapped you like a keg...
Not the only thing you wouldn't mind getting tapped...
Picking the cot nearest to him, you hopped up and stretched out your legs, propping yourself up with your hands.
"Come here often?" You smiled, raising your eyebrows at him.
"Hard to refuse such gracious hospitality." He laughed, flexing his forearm with tiny little needle marks in it.
"I'm surprised they can still find a vein." He joked, shaking his hair out of his eyes to look at you.
However, you were looking at his exposed forearms, admiring the veins a phlebotomist would lust after.
Leon's team sat on the other cots, rolling their sleeves back down and talking to the medical assistants.
Some of the faces you recognized, others less so.
One woman a few cots away was looking at you with a sour expression as you chatted to Leon.
You hadn't seen him in a few months, recent missions never shared and time off never aligning.
You asked him how his mission had gone and while he talked you let your eyes wander over him. Admiring the wrinkles around his eyes and the way the lines creased near his lips when he gave you his half smile. He hadn't shaved in a while, too busy defending the world from what most would consider unspeakable horrors.
You'd known him for years and you could confidently say that every time you were blessed enough to share the same room as him, you found him wildly more attractive than the last time. A man like that aged like fine wine. A wine you wouldn't mind sampling. To the very last drop...
He wasn't oblivious. He saw the way you looked at him, the hunger in your eyes. Unfortunately for you, he was surrounded by his team and medical workers.
But... You wouldn't always be stuck in a tent, being poked and prodded.
Poked and prodded...hmmm...
"How long were you away?" He asked, rolling his sleeves down and hopping off the cot to get closer to you.
"Not too long. Was supposed to be overnight, but the extraction was delayed, which turned it into two days..."
You trailed off as you heard a strange shuffling from the tent flaps. You and Leon looked over as a shiny object quickly flew in and bounced down into the tent with a sharp clink as it hit the metal bed frames. You saw too late what it was as a bright light exploded, blinding you.
A flash bang exploded in the tent, making your ears ring and eyes burn.
Jumping out of the cot you reached for the nearest thing for defense, as you wobbled with impaired senses. You reached for something, anything as you heard whistling noises around you.
Suddenly you felt a sharp pain in your neck. Reaching up, you felt a feathered dart with a little vial attached.
"What the fuuc....." You trailed off as your knees sunk to the floor, body limp, mind foggy. The last thing you saw were the tactical boots swirling around you as they secured Leon, his team, and finally you.
Darkness....
You didn't know how long you had been blacked out, and you were only coming in and out of consciousness right now.
You heard voices, distorted and low, as if someone had reduced the speed on a record.
You tried to move, but your body refused the urge, your limbs like lead.
Your eyes opened and closed as you struggled for consciousness. You saw Leon placed up against a wall, armed men surrounding him. He seemed to be still unconscious. Other members of his team were slumped up against the walls, as the masked guards kept an eye on them.
You felt the ground shift slightly as you slid a little back. A deafening continuous sound washed over you.
Trying to concentrate on the noise and the feel of the metal beneath, you realized you're hurtling through the air in a helicopter.
You tried to reconcile the facts. Tent. Helicopter. Tent. Helicopter. Tent....needle in neck...helicopter...shuffling black boots around you.
Watching the boots move across the bay of the copter, you tried to count how many.
One soldier was comparing Leon and his team to playing cards.
"All assets accounted for," he called out, voice muffled from the mask.
He kept shuffling through them, before turning around to cock his head at you in confusion.
"Turns out we grabbed a spare then."
Tapping the cards against his thigh, he contemplated your immobile form. Zipping the cards back into a pouch, he stomped over to you.
You stopped struggling to keep your eyes open and let everything go dark as you heard the creak of his boots as he crouched down to look at you.
"We don't need that one." A different masked soldier barked out.
Standing back up, the soldier grabbed your leg and dragged you over to the edge of the helicopter.
"Get rid of her."
With one push of his foot, you tumbled out of the helicopter, air whistling past your ears as you plummeted into the ocean below....
"Hurry!" Leon shouted as he shot one creature after another as they came crawling and stumbling out of windows and doors.
You were frantically trying to start the self destruct in the laboratories system but the interface was partially damaged from when Leon was thrown into it by a mutated creature.
You never could understand how Leon could have his back collide with so many surfaces and still be walking around and protecting you.
A crackle in your ear piece and then a message came through letting you know the helicopter would be there soon. Just hold on.
You could see the blades of the helicopter slice through the air as it rose up beside the rooftop you were on. Handy that the self destruct sequence could be activated from rooftop access.
"Ready for extraction!" Your ear piece buzzed as you typed in the last commands.
Running towards the edge of the building, you followed Leon to the hovering chopper. Leon jumped over to the helicopter and you followed. Looking back you saw the timer hit an error and reset. It wouldn't activate without you punching in the final code.
You made a split decision and jumped off the helicopter, running back to the access panel.
"Y/N!" Leon yelled after you as he saw you dodge creatures, trying to make it back to reset the countdown. He shot down the creatures coming for you as you reset the countdown.
An explosion rocked the building from a connecting laboratory, forcing the helicopter back and pushing you away from the console.
Gasping from the air being knocked out of you, you grabbed the panel pulling yourself back up, frantically trying to get the self destruct to initiate.
The pilot motioned to Leon that they couldn't stay for much longer.
One more try, you thought, as you scrambled to get it to work. Success! The light turned red as a voice boomed out from the intercom, stating the self destruct sequence had been initiated.
Running over the rooftop as the helicopter bucked to stay close enough to you but not too close for the creatures to reach, you focused on Leon's face. His brow furrowed, shooting any creature that got too close to you.
You could hear the bullets whistling by you as you ran to the helicopter, zombies falling by your feet as Leon took them out.
As you leapt off the building, your hand outstretched fingers reaching for Leon as he shouted your name. Time slowed as you felt yourself start to fall. For a split second you thought, "Is this it?..." And then you felt his hand grab your forearm and time sped back up again
You were dangling from the chopper as Leon grunted and moaned, holding onto you with one hand and the other to the door frame.
Your legs dangled in the air as the helicopter set off, increasing speed, to get some distance from the impending explosions.
With one final grunt, Leon pulled you up safely into the helicopter and straight into his arms.
Panting against each other, lost in the moment, you clung to each other, feeling the reassuring warmth of each other's skin, his breath across your face.

A huge explosion rocked the area, even far away, it lifted the helicopter's tail rotor, unbalancing you two as the pilot fought to right your course.
Leon wrapped one hand around a strap against the wall and the other around your waist as the helicopter spun from the explosion.
You closed your eyes waiting for the inevitable. How many chances could one person get. You felt the helicopter falling but then the pilot through sheer determination managed to pull up before you hit a tree.
As the helicopter leveled out, you moved back from him to strap yourself in.
Leon reached out and stopped you, grabbing your face and pulling you flush against his body, his lips hot and intense with passion.
You kissed him back fervently and in that moment you weren't in a helicopter hurtling away from death and destruction.
Hands against his chest, your fingernails bit into his shirt as one of Leon's hands ran through your hair, the other tracing the small of your back, urging you closer.
His mouth lingered on yours until you let go to gasp for air, adrenaline running through you.
"Don't ever do that again!" He shouted over the helicopter's deafening whirring.
Seeing stars from his kiss, and maybe damage from the explosions, you could only nod your head as Leon pulled you in to his chest. Tucking your head under his chin, you listened to Leon's beating heart as the helicopter flew as fast as it could from the destruction behind you...
This was it. You were out of bullets, even the one you always promised to keep for yourself if you ever got into a situation you knew you wouldn't come out alive.
Suddenly a huge explosion burst from the other side of the room that shook the very foundations of the building. Shrapnel impaled the monsters coming for you as you instinctively raised your arm to block the blinding light.
You let out a pained grunt as one of the pieces of hot metal embedded itself into your arm, blood flowing from the wound. You barely acknowledged it as you were focussed on the creatures' shrieks as they fell to the ground, some mere feet away from you. Coughing, you raised your good arm to your brow to shield the light while trying to blink the tears away from the billowing smoke.
Pieces of metal fell from the ceiling as the building around you started to shake apart from the violent blast.
"Well, at least the monsters won't get me," you comforted yourself, as you watched the room break apart.
Then suddenly out of the smoke and flame a figure appeared, waivering slightly like a mirage. You squinted through blurry eyes to see the flickering figure coming towards you.
A man all in black tactical gear, covered in soot, with a giant hand gun, strutted towards you shooting the few creatures that were still writhing on the floor.
As a hand reached out to you, a face came into focus.
"Leon!" You gasped in surprise, which led to more coughing.
Muscles flexing, he grabbed your good arm and pulled you to your feet.
"What, you think I'd ever turn down an invitation from you?" His lips lifted in a half smile.
Reloading his weapon, he interlocked his fingers with your good hand, and lifted his other to cover the doorway with his requim.
