Hmmm..that is a good question

Uhhh,, well Sanguinius has a grip on me, so he is definetly satisfying to draw

Horus is espacialy fun, because he is very bald, so there us more of an emphasis on making him very expressive, and i do enjoy the stocky figure.

The emperor is espacialy challenging, not only in terms of getting his likeness correctly, but also getting his voice right, with the former, its attempting to achieve the correct level of a controlled and contained body language and face, with the latter, well, we dont get much of an insight on who he is, so you just basicaly have to wing it and hope he sounds in character.

I also, struggle, with deciding what design i want from him, he is definetly one of those designs that lead by aesthetic first, distinction later (ex: same hairstyle as Konrad's)

And, i fear, Ginias' work may have changed me permanently, so now i cant help but give him a lean, douyin look 💔 its very unfortunate im sorry chad emperor lovers, i promise he has muscles.

in all seriousness, ah, i could point to a couple ships that i enjoy, but in the sense that i love how they interact in canon, and i dont find much incentive to expand upon the relationship they have,

I deeply enjoyed Voltus and Baraka's dynamic in Leviathan, and Elever and Konrad's shortlived stint in his primarch novel was deeply entertaining.

Emperor and Erda and Malc, whatever the hell they have, makes me kick my feet.

And obviously, there is the slightly more contentious horusang, i havent drawn much of them, mainly because i already get enough fuel for my madness from what i get from the books, there is litteraly no addition i could make to their relationship (headcanon-wise) because i am so deeply well fed by what GW gives me (whether they know it or not)

You may notice that he is a lot paler than i tend to depict him, i like to think he was born lacking in color then, as he grew up, he shifted his appearance, like an exoskeleton hardening, adapting to his enviornment, the tribe that influenced him. Fitting into their ideal.

Not quite a mask, not quite a proper shell, flexible depending on the beholder, but liable to drop if he loses control, its how reason why he straight up turned White when getting pissed off at Konrad in Angels of Caliban 😭
