One Direction’s first and last performances as a five piece. (2010 - 2015)

just feeling very sad after the sudden passing of liam payne. one direction is and has been my safe space since I was 15. I am 29 now and still when I have a bad day, feel a bit off or I am in need for some comfort and by myself, I turn to their music. right now it feels like it will never feel the same anymore and will always have a sad energy tainted to my safe space and that in itself is making me feel emotional. I hope this will, in time, become less of a sadness and turn back into only joy and comfort.

what hurts a lot as well and is heightening my emotions is the fact that liam died not knowing how loved he really was by the world. all these kind words are now said too late. he died alone thinking everyone was laughing at him. I truly hope everyone that wrote and posted such horrible things about him feel so much guilt for their actions because they clearly have had an affect on someone that entered an industry at a young age and was navigating life for the first time just like the rest of us.

even though it is incredibly sad, one direction and their music will continue to be my comfort and my safe place as they have for 14 years.
