I was just casually going through some playlist making for my AUs and adding any LeoCass songs I came across into that folder. And. I uh.

Ever heard 7 Minutes by Dean Lewis?

If you have, then you probably know what I’m getting at.

If you HAVENT, I highly recommend you do because the entire time I was listening to it I was just picturing Leo heading home after your last episode and let me tell you that image is HEARTBREAKING— Because the whole premise is that it was Leo’s fault she betrayed him. The key line in the chorus, repeated over and over and over as an explanation for why the relationship ended was “I forgot to love you” and it fits Leo’s low self esteem so well and I know that’s most likely not how he’s going to think the whole thing turned out but STILL—

Anyway, hi, big LeoCass fan and your fanfic is the Bible of this ship, your latest episode destroyed me in every way possible, hope you have a good day and that you can sleep well at night 😄

Hai Sophie-laurel! I started reading your leocass au one month ago and I LOVE IT! And I also love how accurate you draw them!

I'm kinda wondering what's gonna happen in the next chapter/episode of the comic, like- imagine Leo comes home heart broken and just stays in he's room all day and just blast sad depressing music in he's headphones and just looks up in the ceiling thinking about he's life decisions. Poor guy's first heart break😭 And the music blasting in he's headphones was "in my room" like just imagine 😭 (the song is REALLY good try listening to it!)

It turns out that, in terms of the number of chapters, things aren’t going according to plan. Yeah, at one point they used to dress in the same style so that no one would recognize them when they went on dates. It became their own little thing, which also strengthens the bond between them.

Thanks for your question! 💙 I didn't give much thought to exactly how they picked out their outfits; they probably didn't buy anything specifically for this, but just found something in their closets. Although, maybe Cass did buy a dress just for this. Who knows. Not me. ~

And they would get so nervous before a date that their mood would swing back and forth, that's for sure.

Yeah, things are pretty tense for these two right now. I don’t even know what to say. It’s the result of them being on opposite sides. Difficulties are inevitable in a situation like this, I guess

To be honest, it’s a liiittle hard to work on this chapter. Like, mentally. I’m not even discussing it with anyone; I’m just drawing while feeling the tension. But thanks to everyone who’s supporting me and waiting for the chapter. I’ll be happy to read your thoughts on it later. 💓 After I started focusing more on the visual aspects of the comic, I changed my plans regarding the number of chapters so as not to make readers wait too long. So, when it comes to the current chapter, I’m also wondering whether to finish it as is or split it into two parts. 😭 I'm still thinking about this while I'm actively drawing this chapter.

To be honest, I’m not sure I really understand romance... I’m trying to figure it out through LeoCass. They kind of help me with that a little.

In any case, it’s hard for me to describe what Leo is feeling. More specifically, what exactly made him fall in love with Cassandra in my comic. I think it’s... um... everything.

For how strong and vulnerable she is. For how funny she is, or how she sometimes seems to lack a sense of humor. For how determined she is, or how she needs support. For how kind she is, even though she’s afraid to show it. Yes, maybe he also loves that he helps her, and she helps him. He likes that even when he’s sure he’s figured out almost all of her qualities, she continues to surprise him. I’ve also thought about how she reminds him of himself. It’s as if they’re both wearing "masks" and have insecurities they try to hide. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes not so much. They’re both trying to prove something to someone. Apparently, he’s found a soul mate in her. He’s seen a mystery he wants to unravel. For him, his relationship with her is a new experience. In its own way, very complicated, but interesting and exciting.

In short, I think he just likes being around her. He feels so many emotions when he sees her, and for him, this is something completely new.

Ugh, I’m so bad with words, but if I were to express all of this more from Leo’s perspective, that’s what I’d like to get at in the comics. 😣👍

I’d love to try animation, but I don’t have any time right now. I’m working and helping out with a few projects. But I dream of making an animatic. 💓 Maybe someday. I’ll definitely need some help, because I’ve never done this before. I drew Cassandra as a child in the comic when she visited the ice rink in her flashback. She’s missing a tooth and has a band-aid on her face; this was my way of showing that she’s been training hard since childhood.

I plan to draw a comic based on those events someday, so I can’t say much about it yet, but I’ve already drawn Cassandra’s reaction to the events of the movie once. More precisely, it’s a sketch of how I imagine her reaction. I think in my au, she’d be really worried about Leo. And whether she’d actually take part in the action, I’m not sure yet. Being there in person and seeing how she almost lost him, that's... stressfuuul. 😢

When I looked at it, I immediately thought: "OMGG, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEOCASS IN THE LAST CHAPTER!!!! "

So I drew them with this reference, and I hope you like it :))

I tried my best to make this drawing because it was one of the first digital drawings I did and that's why it probably won't be that good😵‍💫
