what do you say to a little girls day out? not only because i need to grab a couple more things for the tour with dua, but so we can buy some stuff for our new house. a fancy bed set is a must because as soon as i'm done with with dua, i'm coming home to curl up in bed and not move for a while. @sophiebelindasx
i would never say no to a day of shopping, especially with you. i still need to find my perfect outfit for your shows, so sign me up. very proud of you and i'm going to need everyone around me to clock that immediately. let's get one of those extra big king beds, with lots of pillows. when we're not using it, the girls will be having the best time jumping on it.
You know what? Thatโs completely valid. If Iโm being honest, Iโm still in a state of total disbelief every day I walk on set for Lanterns. Working on any project is thrilling, but getting the opportunity of bringing a beloved character to life? Thatโs a whole different level of surreal. And hey, Angelina is a legend but donโt try to sell yourself short, Turner. Youโre such a gifted and brilliant actress that I already know youโll put your own exciting twist on Lara. And Iโve still been hard at work filming Lanterns, weโve got about another month to go before wrapping so Iโll have a little bit of a break before gearing up to promote the upcoming season of The Morning Show.
in hollywood, everything can change in an instant, so that's why i'm so careful not to get too ahead of myself. i feel like that sense of gratitude also carries you far everywhere. i never want to turn into one of those entitled arseholes that think they deserve it all just by existing. i'll try to give my own spin on her, because that's the beauty of remakes. no one wants a shot for shot re-creation of a film, hah. filming and promo for something else? phew, you are a busy boy. no wonder they're calling you the new IT boy.
private ; Just so it's on the record -- nobody could ever replace you, Sophie, and I'd never want to do that. But yeah, of course, the more positive role models -- especially as girls -- the better, and we're both on the same page about not letting just anybody into their lives. Ballet was a given, should've known on that one. Gymnastics, huh? Not sure where that came from, because her dad definitely can't do the Benson Boone-esque back flip, that's for sure. It doesn't, but that would be an easy enough adjustment -- anything for the girls, including too-tight athletic wear.
private: i know that. that's just one of the hardships of divorce, though. letting go of what you thought your life and family would look like and becoming okay with the new normal, though. however, kelsea seems like a very cool person and i'm sure the girls will love her. now that i finally have a house with a backyard again, they're desperate for me to get a trampoline. you can always come over to do flips with them on it and get your practice in. give mister boone a run for his money. you're a good dad, joe. i'm not sure if i say it enough but i should.
Dinnae get me started. Imagine having to ID folks and ye have to do the maths to make sure they're legal because their birthdate started with 20. Way too stressful. I get that - that's what I love about when we're in Scotland or Ireland, the paps are naewhere to be seen. Crawling all about London, though. Biggest downside to being here for work. Thank ye, darling. Pretty fucking excited about it all.
we're getting much closer to the point where people born in 2010 are reaching adulthood and i think that might be my breaking point. bless, because that's what you deserve. nothing more stressful than trying to enjoy your time off all while trying to duck the paparazzi. since i'll be in london too shortly, maybe we could all have dinner sometime?

Not me getting emotional over here with all these ego boosters. Thank you so much, you queen of everything. Truly. Fountain of Youth was such a fun one to promote, working with Natalie Portman was a literal dream, and John Krasinski? A gem of a human, ridiculously talented. Iโm also really excited for In The Grey, itโs something a little different for me and I canโt wait to share it with the world. Alsoโฆ I may or may not have done a little deep dive on your IMDb and girl, youโre just as booked and busy. Do you have one project youโre extra excited about right now? I want all the details.
you deserve each and every ego boost, and that's a fact. ugh, i'm so jealous. your recent gauntlet of co-stars has been absolutely epic. how was natalie portman? she comes across as the sweetest and the nicest person ever. i love that you're constantly working and hustling, real queen shit. are you booked and busy this summer too or do you get a break now? i took a long break to have kids, so it's been so fun slipping back into work mode now. the gothic horror film i made with kit will get people talking for sure and i'm so excited to do promo with him too. he's like a big brother to me in rea life as well, so getting to work with him again was fab.
good thing i love shopping. we'll give our cards a workout, make our dream house come to life. i sent an email over to let our agent know that we're interested so she can handle it from here and we should have an answer soon. look at you saving us some work. i don't have much to go through either so it should be a breeze to get our personal things packed and moved over. i wouldn't mind it either but no pressure, babe. we can cross that bridge in a couple years when our work lives have settled and we feel like we're ready for some sleepless nights. i'm not joining her until the end of june so still have a couple more weeks. when are you heading back to work?
can't believe the house is officially ours now. crazy that we've finally made it to a stage where we're home owners together and building our life together. with all the help we've gotten, i'm sure we can be 100% moved in before we go to england for your wembley shows. speaking of that, a lot of my family are going to be there to support you. including my brother and my parents. we all want to be there and i know it's going to be amazing. i start filming in early july, but i should be done in four-ish weeks. we can be back in our home by august and enjoy the rest of the summer in new york.
private ; Agreed; I couldn't have said it better myself, Soph. No, she hasn't... but like I said, I've really been thinking about it. Yeah, it's exactly for that reason I haven't taken them to meet her yet. She is unbelievably sweet, and I have no doubt that they'll like her; it's just me that I've got to worry about, which is a lot more than it sounds, ha. I do see that future for me and Kels, yeah -- another terrifying prospect. I know we've mended things, obviously, but I think somewhere deep down I've got a worry about history repeating itself. I don't want that, for me or anybody else. What kind of dance classes? Tap, jazz, contemporary -- all of the above? I need to know what she's studying so I can challenge her to a proper dance-off next time I've got the girls, obviously. If it's a prince they want, it's a prince they'll get -- spoiled, those two.
private: navigating dating post-divorce isn't easy, but i think you picked the right person. she seems like someone who would fit your life and also be a great addition to the girls' life. i'm not sure how i feel about anyone else being any kind of mum to my girls but having one more reliable adult in their lives is never a bad thing. i think we did pretty good if we don't think of how everything ended and we'll always be in each others lives now. i think i was too young when we got married, and i didn't quite know who i was yet. you can't separate that girl from her tutu, so ballet obviously. also gymnastics, because that's what delp is gravitating towards and would be nice to have them in the same class. hope your wardrobe includes a leotard, since you're going to be needing it. i have no doubt that you'll make the most dashing prince for them.
At least ye were born in 2002, it throws me off meeting people born after 2000 that are nae 12 years old, that's no right. That's why folks try to get rich, so they have folks to do all that for them again. Ooh, nice, I always prefer staying in Brooklyn, a wee bit less hectic, and the architecture is gorgeous. Love a good brownstone. If I told ye everything, ye wouldnae be surprised when ye watch the show.
right, let's not even talk about people who are full-grown adults and they were supposedly born in 2007? yeah, no. that doesn't sound believable at all. how true but no amount of help makes it feel like your childhood. the guilt of not doing it yourself is an ever-present ghost lmao. me too, actually. the neighbours feel more friendly and i love that we can walk to a park without paparazzi trying to take photos of the girls. fair but i'm still damn curious and can barely wait. also, i heard the news. i'm so unbelievably happy for you and sersh. most amazing news. how're you feeling?
I feel like I'm ready to burst! You're so sweet to say that and I'm having a hard time believing it. We're a special kind of crazy to be this pregnant in the heat of the summer more than once, but it's a club I'll happily take pride in considering you're in it. He's supposed to make his arrival in July but we'll see if I last that long. How are you and the girls? Where in the world are you these days?
you have more than a month to go still? damn, you look like he could get here any moment now. it's so wild. truly do not wish swollen ankles and back pain while everyone else is cute in their bikinis on the beach. are you taking it easy now with hubs waiting on you hand and foot? we're in new york now, trying to finalize a move before i head back to the UK to film. Dove and i bought a house in brooklyn and it's the most gorgeous house. i'm having so much fun decorating and making it our own.
with my oldest daughter being very much a frilly princess and a professional ham, i've started reflecting more about my own experiences in acting as a child. it's so crazy bonkers to think i was so young and thought i knew it all when i started on GOT. i know you started out young in theatre too. do you ever regret not having a "normal" childhood? do you feel like you missed out? / @ellasummer
Great year. That means am only 12, and me biggest worry is learning me lines for the school play so the girls will wanna snog me after the show. Aye? Where ye planning on moving, then? It's called The Fifth Step. It's about two fellas who go to AA - no more I can really tell ye. Get in line, I've been worshipping her since before I even met her. At a creepy shrine to her in me bedroom and everything.
i was six in 2002 and gosh, that was magical. being a kid was the greatest, you never had to worry about what to cook that night and there was a steady supply of clean clothes without you lifting a finger. i miss being that carefree tbh. we're moving from manhattan to brooklyn. we found a house with a yard and it makes me so happy. i'm sick of living in apartments lmao. can't believe you're not telling me more but fine. i'll do my best to be patient and wait until i get to see it. as you should, since she IS a goddess in every sense of the word.
mumma, you look ready to burst. your bump is the cutest thing i've ever seen! exploding ankles is also a real fear tbh. both of my girls were born in the middle of the summer and i don't think my ankles have returned back to normal now. it's the final boss of uncomfortableness during pregnancy. how soon until the little one makes an appearance? / @oliviaamendola
i love to support my friends, what can i say? aww, thank you, sophie! that means so much to hear! i'll always cherish this first met, forever. it is and it took time for me to even look at things this way but now that i do, i think i'm just happy to have what i enjoy made into shows or movies, you know? no, i still do that sometimes too until i see the end result and then i don't feel quite as bad.
you're a real gem. walking the met steps for the first time is such a core memory and you did it in an iconic outfit too - obsessed. the process of coming up with the look is so stressful. how many different outfits did you see before you picked the green suit? you have a great attitude about that, i wish i could look at at it the same way. i get attached to roles and it sucks when i don't end up getting them tbh.
What year is it again? Sorry, darling, been very busy. As if I'm ever anything else. Sounds exciting for you - what's got ye feeling so happy? Doing a play in the West End for the next 3 months, if ye fancy stopping by to watch sometime. Nae doubt Sersh will happily accompany ye, since she cannae get enough of me theatre acting, of course.
i think we're in 2002. a goated year. figured, you're always a busy boy and a hard one to track down. i've been house hunting with my girl and we finally found something we both love. you know that feeling when everything is clicking into place? that's me, right now. back to the stage you go, how fun. what's the play? i would love to come see it. it's been far too long since i've been out in the theatres in london. double my excitement if sersh is willing to join me. you know my feelings about your wife, i worship her tbh.
I used to date people like that. I used to BE like that. Then I had a child and I'm constantly exhausted haha. Um excuse me but your 2022 look? You reminded me of Jean D' Arc. Like, a badass warrior mother. But yeah. Plus the pressure is off! It was great. Pretty lowkey spend it with my little honey bunny. How about you?
i have nothing against gym people but please for the love of god, stop pushing this dry chicken and cottage cheese agenda on me. respectfully, no. awe, i loved that dress and strangely, i loved walking the met steps pregnant. it was such an empowering experience, even if my feet were killing me. no one critiquing your outfit is the best thing about watching from home lmao. people on the internet are mean. first mother's day is so precious, but it's the most fun when they start getting old enough to make you cards and little gifts. i loved my day with my girls, felt so loved and appreciated.
