It was hard to hear that her parents, their grandparents had passed away. She didn’t want to know how it happened. She wanted to hold onto the belief that it was peaceful. At least her little girl got some time with them. "It’s okay, Soph,“ she held tightly. "I got you now.”
“So... I have a brother.” She breathed softly. “Two brothers... I met one of them. Its... its crazy.”

There weren’t words to describe what she was feeling in that moment. It was like she could finally take a breath. As if all the time before knowing that her daughter was okay that she was drowning. “I know, I know,” she comforted the young girl. “Are you okay?” It was hard her to think what life was like for Sophie in those years. As a mother, her children were her heart outside her body. There was nothing that she loved more. Not even herself.
“I am... but grandma and grandpa aren’t.” She admitted. “They... when the war happened... they um...” She felt tears within her eyes. “they died.” she admitted.

He reached forward, grabbing her arm. The sound of wings could be heard as he teleported them back to the home he shared with his husband. When he stated he couldn’t speak out in the open, he was being honest. There were still some rebellious angels out there, even if their numbers had dwindled. There were also some hunters who seemed interested in trying to kill him – but they were laughable at best. “First off. I am what most would consider a Nephilim. Half angel, half human. I rebuilt this city after it was destroyed.” He assumed everyone knew about the war between alt!Michael and the world. Innocent people got killed. Demons and angels had come together to try to end him, but he had been too strong. “And my father is the devil – quite literally. Lucifer. But I don’t know or see him as everyone else does.” Sam and Dean tried to make him see the evil side of him, but sitting down and having an actual conversation with him, things had been.. different. “Lucian, my brother. He is completely human. It’s.. difficult to explain the situation.” A lot more difficult than he originally thought it would be, that was for sure.
Sophie blinked her eyes at they were transported to an unfamiliar place. “wow.” She exclaimed, impressed with such a display. “Nephilim.” She repeated slowly before giving her head a nod. “So mom.... with an angel.” She looked amused at the thought. At the mention of the city being destroyed her face went solemn. She hated that war. It was too much for her grandparents... they died. “Waitawhat.” Her eyes went wide. “Mom---Lucifer.... oh my freakin.... wow.” She quirked her eyebrows. “So there’s another brother... okay. Do you mind if I take aa seat cause I’m half sure I’m gonna fall down. This is a lot.”

“potentially. it depends on who is asking after her.”
“her daughter.”

Kelly was in shock when the word mom rang in her ears. It took a second for her arms to lift and embrace the hug. She had realized who the girl in front of her was. It had been so long, she wasn’t the little girl that was being skyped every night because of work. She was a grown woman and was alive. After coming back from the dead with the world ended she had resigned to the fate of her eldest child. The breath started to catch in her chest as she held the girl close. “Oh, Sophie,” she cried, “I didn’t think I’d see you again. You’re alive. I can’t believe you’re alive.” She pulled away just to see the others face. Brushing the ginger hair out her face. “I missed you. So much, peanut.”
After her grandparents had died and her mom had gone missing Sophie had been the loneliest she ever had been. There was even times she spent in homeless shelters, it was the hardest time of her life. But she had kept hope, that her mother was out there alive somewhere. She was glad she’d been right. Tears in her eyes she squeezed her mother tightly. Hearing the familiar nickname, peanut, it made her heart skip a beat. “I missed you so much.” She said in a whisper leaning her head into her mother’s shoulder.

“There was probably a reason I was never mentioned.” A good reason, at that. Being human in his family made you a target. For the last several years, Jack had done everything he could to protect his human family. Sam, Dean, Kelly, Thomas. It didn’t matter who it was. He may not have been the savior everyone wanted him to be, but at least he had managed to use his powers for good. He had picked the right path – and he had a relationship with both his fathers. “Knowing me puts you in danger. Maybe not as bad as it used to be, but it comes with problems. I have a twin brother named Lucian who didn’t know about me, either. If you have time, I am willing to explain. But not here.”
“What reason would that be?” She asked crossing her arms over her chest. This whole thing felt horrible toi her. It sucked enough when her grandparents died when the world changed. Now, not only had her mom been missing but she had more children--siblings Sophie didn’t know about. “Danger?” She repeated the word skeptically. “Another--another sibling. Wow.” that was a lot to take in. “Okay. I have all the time in the world.” No one cared about her coming home to them, besides Kelly, and now this guy--her brother and his twin, she supposed. She had no one.
sawhellinhiseyes:
It had been seven years since Kelly had seen her daughter. Practically longer if her work hours were been accounted for. Not recognizing the girl when she turned to face her. "I’m Kelly,“ she regretted saying that the moment the words escaped her lips. It wasn’t exactly safe to be Kelly Kline as she was a mother to a nephilim.
“You’re...” How could she not of recognized her? Sophie felt like hitting herself across the head--she should of realized. “I’ve missed you so much, mom.” She said pulling her into an embrace.
ofnephilims:
Her mom? Jack would have known if he had another sibling. At least he thought he would have. Kelly had been resurrected four years ago. His relationship with her was strong. “Impossible. She’s been alive for the last four years.”
“The last four years?” She repeated. “And she didn’t---pretending that I do believe you... she never mentioned me.” She felt cold just from the thought. “She-she never mentioned you either.” she said in a small tone. “Assuming you are telling the truth.”
ofnephilims:
The sound of wings can be heard as Jack makes an appearance. This is his town – amongst other things. He’s raising his family here, after all. So, hearing Kelly’s name had caught his attention because he doesn’t know who this is. “She is my mother. Who are you?”
“Thats impossible.” Sophie said without a thought. “She would of told me if she had another---she’s my mom. She went missing 7 years ago.”
“Would you happen to know someone named Kelly Kline?”

Girl power to me means being brave enough to take that first step and to speak out and be yourself.

That seems to be the case for most people. Something on your mind?
I did something I know was bad, but I don’t regret it. Doesn’t that make me a bad person? I mean I’ve never been perfect but...
