Oh, it’s easy! I just have a lot of likes and followers and companies pay me money to endorse their stuff. I dunno, even if it wasn’t my job, I love Insta and would probably be on all the time anyways. Hm…. I guess if that’s what makes you happy, then that’s great! It’s great to love your job. What else do you like to do?

I suppose it’s possible.  Maybe someday it’ll come back to me.

Huh - very cool!  Do you actually use all the things you endorse, out of curiosity?  Totally fair, I know a lot of people really love it.  And from the number of followers you must have, a lot of those people follow you.  It is, I do like the old saying about how if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life.

I’m an archer, as well, and I like to paint.  Netflix and a bottle of wine never go too amiss either.  How about you, Sugar?  How do you fill your spare time?

Do you ever want to do more with life than be a teacher?

That’s an interestingly phrased question - I don’t think that being something other than a teacher would be doing more with my life.  I find fulfillment in what I do, and I’m happy to do it for as long as I’m wanted.  So I guess the answer’s no.

what would you do if you couldn't compete with your bow anymore?

Honestly, I’d be all right.  There’ll come a time when I can’t in any case, and that’s why it’s not a career for me - just a hobby.  I’d just have to find something else to fill my spare time with.

Kass: That's how I feel about it, too. I have some but I know that I don't have all of them and with all of the people - I'm sure that they could bring all of the things. Now I wanna watch TWD.

Sophie: I can't say I've ever tried it myself, but if it means some good conversation then why not, right? Hey, you do whatever you want with your weekend - that's what it's all about.

Sophie: If the safe house is for the whole town then the least everyone can do is bring supplies, tbh. I never really got into it, but I've always heard good things.

Kass: I didn't think so but I mean, who could argue about it? I like to think I'd be one badass hero, tbh. Though, people might need to bring their own booze if they want it but that's just one small thing.

Sophie: As close to meeting as someone can over a text, at least! I'm doing really well, thanks - glad for the weekend! How are you?

Sophie: Not me, that's for sure. I don't doubt that one bit - and honestly, if people need booze that bad they can pack it with them; survival seems more important than getting drunk.

Wow. I can’t even imagine!!! That’s crazy town. Instagram is my job, so I’m on… I mean, not ALL day every day, but at least a few hours every day. I had to have two people keep up my feed while I was gone. Very nice to meet you. So, what’s that like? I guess you like kids a lot? I like kids but like… I dunno if I could do more than one or two at a time.

Oh I don’t mind, I promise.  It’s interesting to speculate about, because most people do have reasons for their phobias.  Something that happened to them or a story they heard once, and mine just seems to be sort of fully formed.

That’s so cool, though!  I always wondered how someone makes a living off of Instagram so it’s neat to meet someone who does.  I think we’re in similar positions, though, because I can’t imagine what it’s like to have to be on it every day.  It’s a lot of fun, honestly - and yeah, I’m a big fan of kids, but you do have to have a certain personality to teach I think.  There’s nothing more special than seeing them learn something new, though, especially when they’re still young.

You’re very welcome.  I don’t blame him for trying to get his hands on them if they’re that good; cookies will do that to a person.  Thank you!  Not in a formal sense, but I’ve given some tips to kids at competitions - and I used to teach my dad, but I think he knew it all already and was just humoring me most of the time.

See, that seems like a perfectly reasonable request. Sweet, I’ll make you a master list of all the best places – what’s your poison? Chinese? Pizza? Thai? Cheese fries? Postmates even delivers crepes, so we got this.

I think there’s certification courses you can take for that, but most teachers have enough on their plates without adding in the extra work. I’m definitely available for any questions you have, though – in a general sense. If by some chance one of my clients ends up in your class, I’d have to get the parents to sign a release form for any specifics, but that’s sometimes helpful, too.

I think so too, so it’s good to have confirmation on that.  You are my literal guardian angel - Thai and Chinese, sushi if there’s a good place for that.  I’ve got a weakness for all of that, although I can’t deny the crepes actually sound pretty good about now.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind at all if I end up staying - it’d be good to have that kind of knowledge under my belt.  Oh, that makes sense - yeah, I don’t want to ask you anything that’s too specific, so if I start getting too in depth make sure and let me know.

Kass: Alright, so I was watching TV and this whole CV thing has really got me thinking. Totally call me weird but someone was saying that they think the zombies are gonna come after this because it's going to like make the world that way and while I think that's a literal weird as fuck logic - I had a dream about it last night and it kinda made me feel weird.

Kass: All I'm sayin', is if it happens - I'm totally shacking up in my house and you're all welcomed to come over and bring food cause I will not be doing the whole zombie thing. Ever. Not any amount of TWD has trained me enough for this.

Kass: So. There's that. Now tell me what you think? Do I need more sleep? OR just more alcohol? Or just a party tomorrow? You tell me.

That’s good advice, thanks.  I’ll crank it up and make sure I can actually get ahold of the landlord if nothing happens.  Minnesota, of all places - and yes, the irony of me being from a State whose motto is the Land of Lakes doesn’t escape me.  Are they that bad?  Remind me never to try that out.

Nothing wrong with a black sheep, they’re cute.  Exactly like that, although unless a time paradox was involved I don’t think that’s where Mom got it from.  Thank you, though - Jules has a charm to it as well.

You are too kind! I could stick to one grade but for some reason I think it is so nice to get to experience a little bit of everything. Maybe I’ll find the grade that I just really click with, if that makes any sense at all. Wait really? Yes! I would love that so much. I love paintings! Do you paint them? 

Just being honest!  And that makes perfect sense to me - the wider experience you’ve got the more valuable you are as a teacher and the more likely that there’s always a place for you.  I mean you might, or you may find that what best suits you is moving between the lot!  Absolutely!  I do, so I’m not going to claim that they’re high quality or a good investment or anything.
