Davis: *Strangely enough, Davis didn't find the silence to be all that uncomfortable. He still needed to get used to it again, but it wasn't something that he dislikes* ..I really miss you too.

Sophie: Now that you're back... We should hang out. Go see a movie or something. *She couldn't help but grin at learning that he missed her as well, but she was trying to not let it on just how happy his words had made her*

Sophie: *She smiled at what he had said, picking up her phone and walking over to her bed, sitting on it, silence between them for a few moments.* I really miss you, Davis.

Davis: *inhales deeply and gives a slight nod* No... no, they just said I need to retake my courses, which will be loads of fun. What about you? What have you been doing?

Sophie: Well at least you can do them though, rather than just really flunking *she paused* unless that's what you did initially, in which case - fuck 'em. *she chuckled slightly, only for her chuckles to stop and a sigh to escape her* I've just been working. I got a job at this diner, and I'm getting paid pretty well considering, so it's been okay.

Davis: I don't know, I just thought you'd be like 'nahh, not now' or something to that effect. *he chuckles at the nickname and shakes his head* I just got back from the UK. Pretty much a whole semester behind classes now, but hey, more stress for me!

Sophie: I'll always have time for you *she said, her voice soft before she cleared her throat* How did that go by the way? I mean, your teachers have to be understanding about it, right?

Davis: *eyes went wide when he realized that she had actually answered his call, and was pretty much speechless at first* Wow... hi... I'm surprised that you actually answered my call.

Sophie: Why wouldn't I answer your call, Fresh Face? *The nickname she once called him sounded almost foreign to her now, and she felt horrible at that fact alone* How are you doing... It's uh... It's been a while.

Sophie: *had been in the middle of putting her laundry away when she heard her phone vibrating on her dresser. Glancing up, she saw who it was and paused, before biting her lip for a split second and sliding her finger across the screen, placing her phone on speaker* Hello?
