Final Day
So, I suppose either none of us had learned how to manage time effectively or we'd all stayed up late just for fun...but I don't think anyone got a huge amount of shut-eye. The winner of the Least Sleep award went to someone who hadn't even bothered with it; I'd had half an hour - after giving up on one final bug and simply pretending the buggy feature in question had never existed. :$
I ended up leaning my head on a wall in a break and waking up to find someone bare-facedly taking a photo. The cheek!
Half the class set up around the classroom while instructors toured with the other half. I had a lot of fun on Daida's Pictonary-like game.
In the afternoon we did the same thing with other students and teachers at GA, followed by a celebratory drink and, for some, a sleep and some dinner. In the evening there was a party, attended by graduands of various GA programmes. Some of the instructors gave out awards and we all officially graduated.
In order to clear everyone out of the building someone proposed a karaoke session, which many of us pursued with vigour; followed by a late-night American diner experience, and culminating with me leaning my head on the wall of the booth at 4am, waking with a start and deciding that was enough.
It was 20th December, so when I got home I slept for a week straight (or what felt like it).
