A new united effort to rehabilitate and weaponize high profile threats has arised. Organizations from around the world  make a collective push for the successful transition of the use of B.O.Ws and mutates to fight future incidents. This primarily sandbox RP, with a contributing over arching plot, began in 2022 after the village incident, and has now been brought into 2023. This plot is loosely based on the B.S.A.A’s use of B.O.Ws for combat. We accept OCs and crossover canons with an RE verse.

She laughed, “Yeah but you still picked me.” She pointed out, nudging Karl in the side with her foot where she’s stretched out across the couch. “Pretty sure I’m just as bad, if not worse than Winters. Least I’m prettier though.” She scoffs at the thought of cooking more at home. It wasn’t like she didn’t cook when she had the time or energy. Work had just been busy lately and she’d been coming home battered and bruised and tired. “Unless you’re volunteering to cook, hush. You know I haven’t had the time to cook lately.”

“Leave it. The little demon can have it for now.” She sighed giving the aformentioned cat a look from where Inky was sitting in her lap before continuing to scratch behind it’s ears.

Norman enters the room rather quietly, attempting not to disturb Mara amidst the bulk of her work. Concentration was a valuable thing, and he felt rather guilty whenever the time came to break it. He gives her a single tap on the shoulder. "Mara, dear, have you eaten today?"

Anakin gave a slight nod to her as she explained. “I see…” He said, crossing his arms and leaning back. He knew the darkside…was something he wouldn’t permit himself to touch till he was more sure of himself again. He didn’t need those dark fearful parts of himself clawing their way back to the surface. And this…Snoke, he had questions. He’d never heard the name-not from Palpatine certainly. Had he been around back then? He had to have hadn’t he? “Well…good for the nightsisters, I guess.” He shrugged. He’d been to their planet a couple of times-before and after. Now that was a planet full of the darkside. “They didn’t deserve to be wiped out.”

“Yeah, well. I figured you needed to know now rather than finding out down the line when it was life or death and I started using your old tricks.” She shrugged. “I know you probably don’t want that shit anywhere near you anymore and I’m willing to respect that. I’ll do what I can to keep you out of it, but it’s what I am now.”

“No they didn’t.” She agreed. She’d been expecting a joke about her taking on an apprentice, but was willing to not bring it up. Things weren’t like they used to be, before the empire, before the end of the war, no matter how much having Anakin around make it feel like it was old times again.

Anakin nodded again, his thumb rubbing over the smooth hilt of his lightsaber. He couldn’t deny he’d missed the feel of one in his hands. And taking the time to tinker with it would probably help him focus his mind.

“I imagine a lot happened after I died.” He mused, shifting and placing the lightsaber on his lap. “…I don’t know if you did.” He admitted. During the war-well…they’d had a lot going on. “Dark…” He repeated, he couldn’t deny he’d felt the cold-but part of him thought it was just getting used to a completely organic body again. “Your powers work differently than the Force might.” He knew that much. “Nightsisters…they’d been wiped out during the war, they’ve come back?” He asked.

“It wasn’t just after you died. It started after the end of the war, and maybe before that. It probably started when I made that pact with the clones really, and it just grew.” She breathed a sigh. “My abilites do work differently but there’s still a fair amount of overlap. It can be argued that for a while I was the most powerful darkside user in the galaxy, at least until Snoke popped up, and now its up for debate again.  “Not as wiped out as people would think actually. There was one survivor, Merrin. I took her on as my apprentice.” She keeps the thought ‘Maybe one day I’ll introduce you’ to herself. “I helped her rebuild the nightsisters, or as best we could given everything else.”

Anakin let his eyes trail over the lightsaber, he almost didn’t want to take it. He’d done…horrible things with it. It might have been better off getting thrown into the lava. He reached out to take it-it was a strange feeling…he’d never actually *felt* this lightsaber before with a physical hand. He could feel the chill from it. It needed…improvement-most of all the kyber crystal. Now that’d be a good task…quest for him.

“Thank you.” He said looking up to her again. “No…those cultists shouldn’t have it.” He agreed then gave a chuckle. “I don’t know if I’d be able to fight with anything else.” He’d used the random blaster here and there…but this is what he was trained in that and well the Force. “If history is any judge we tend to get into that kind of trouble.” He tried for a smile.

“That we do.” She smiled, even as she flexed her mechanical hand a bit. It’s a trust that Anakin hadn’t earned, getting his lightsaber back, but it needed to be done. “There’s also some things you need to know before going into battle with me again, stuff that happened after you died.” She sighs. It’s better that he knows now then finding out when it could blow up in their faces.

“Did I ever fully explain what I am? The whole ‘goddess of fear’ thing? It’s been so long I don’t remember if I did or didn’t. Either way, back then, I wasn’t- I hadn’t fully come into my powers yet. I have now, and they’re dark, and I’ve picked up some tricks from the nightsisters along the way.”

Anakin sat on the floor with his hands in his lap and his eyes closed. He’d been trying to meditate more, something he’d actually gotten better at during his time trapped in the mechanical suit. But…that’d been because of his time spent in tanks just trying to keep him alive.

But he was finding he needed the balance now-to try and connect better with the Force. But he could sense the presence hovering at the door.

“You’re still trying to figure out what to do with me.” He commented, turning his head towards her and opening his eyes. “I can’t stay locked away in your ship forever.” He didn’t exactly blame her for not wanting him out in the galaxy again-but he…needed to do something. Prove to her-and…himself that he wasn’t a threat.

Mara sighed and walked over to Anakin, crossing in front of him and sitting down herself. “Nor do I expect you to.” It wasn’t fair to him, and honestly she wanted the help. 

This hadn’t been an easy decision by any means, and she’s almost sure to get yelled at by half of resistance command, at least. At worst, its going to get her and a lot of other people killed. Might as well rip the bacta patch off now.

She reaches into her jacket and pulls out Vader’s lightsaber and holds it out between them, offering it to him. “I was only on Mustafar to pick this up when I found you. Didn’t figure you would want your lightsaber to be worshiped by a cult, and it didn’t feel right to leave it. I’m giving it back to you because dragging you into combat without a weapon is just going to get one or both of us killed.”
