Sheogorath but like, in tacky dad on vacation fashion

Every other Daedric Prince: I can’t manifest directly on Nirn because reasons so my servants/underlings/possessed mortals do everything for me
Sheogorath:
I threw together a height reference for my own use. None of these have explicit anchors in canon, but then again nothing about height or age have any real anchors in canon at all. We have a great deal of anecdotes about different ages but…
Using my height as a 5′1 human being and thinking about how genuinely tall someone who is 6ft to me is as well as how much shorter someone who is 4′8 appears to me, I figured it was important to keep that perception in mind. It’s easy to say a tall person could be 7 feet tall when that’s absurdly tall.
For human/dunmer/orsimer I DID go online and look up height statistics for the real world population. I did not include Khajit or Argonians because they can vary wildly.
To read this, 70% of the population’s height is found within the boxes. The extremes (the end lines) represent less than 1% of the population. Think of the extremes as absolute min and absolute max. These heights do not account for various medical issues such as giantism, but if you met an Altmer who was 8′6, there would be some suspicion as to whether or not they had a medical condition.
I had this beautiful realization.
Vivec is one of Sheogorath’s blessed.
Who else is split down the middle aesthetically?
Who else is entirely unintelligible?
And who’s the daedric prince of ART?
I mean... have any of you TRIED to read Vivec’s sermons? I know IRL they were written by a dude high off his ass but.... They don’t make sense. At first glance they seem like sentences, and they read like sentences-- they have the [article noun verb infinitive verb] structure, but the words together don’t mean anything. If you madlibbed an entire book sort of deal.
It makes so much sense for Sheo to chuck a rock at Vivec now. Lil bitch wasn’t givin credit where credit was due.
Love the aro/ace coded autistic god. Hate the whole being complicit with slavery. Love the voice/aesthetic. Hate how ESO had that intense dissonance between what we hear and what people say about him and how the Clockwork City is actually run. Love the talk shit got hit over becoming a god and talking shit to Azura (and getting hit). Hate how the writing goes “oh he’s ineffable” when he’s just obviously autistic. Like you don’t gotta know the term to know people are just Like That anyways.
Hate how our aro/ace coded major autistic character is still completely complicit with the whole... slavery and what not.
Ah well, at least we will always have our Lord and Savior, Alchemy.
absolutely profane, do not let them near your artifacts
This sketch of Ayem got a bit out of hand.

VIVEC; the warrior-poet
→ “Vivec, or Vehk, Warrior-Poet deity of the Dunmer and “vi” in the Almsivi, was the Guardian God-King of the holy land of Vvardenfell, and ever-vigilant protector from the dark gods of the Red Mountain, the gate to hell. Though some aspects of his past are blurred by time and questions surround some of his more controversial choices, Vivec has always represented the spirit and duality of the Dunmer people, which is reflected in his half-Dunmer, half-Chimer appearance. For hundreds if not thousands of years, he mostly resided at the pinnacle of his Palace in Vivec, his capital, which was visited by hundreds of pilgrims and tourists daily.”
