So, as you all know, I am very gay and I watch and read a ton.

That being said, I have never watched or read a character straight up just saying “I am gay.” It’s always either implied through action or bought forth through indirect development.

But after hearing an actual character on screen tell his friend that he is gay, in those exact words, I kind of realized that representation isn’t as helpful as it seems when it doesn’t directly show people that being LGBTQ+ is okay.

Seeing a character express their sexual preference in a clear in concise way, despite them being fictional, hit different and really opened my eyes to rep in the media.

Ok, so imagine Runaan coming home without an arm and hating himself because he can’t defend anyone with just one arm. Ethari sees the way he feels and makes him a new arm with the same markings as the necklace.

When he puts it on Runaan he reminds him that the marking means family and that he can’t just go around getting kidnapped.

People say pit is strange and I get mad. But then i remember that one time it was super humid out and all the instruments were soggy and while we wiped them down one kid started humming the mii theme and by the time we finished we had a whole harmony going.

Use actual ingredients for your coffee. Treat yourself with actual chocolate in your mocha, or caramel in your morning coffee.

This seems obvious, but I’ve never tried it bc why bother when flavored creamer exists???

But today my mom was baking and she made caramel to use in her icing and left some extra lying around and I thought hey. I need caffeine tonight. Why not spice it up. (Those summer assignments are due in three days)

I put like two teaspoons in my eight ounces of coffee, added milk, and drank it. Lemme tell you, this shits great. I could literally live on it.

So if if you have an extra bit of candy or just something natural lying around. Add it to your coffee.

If you’re gonna live off it anyway, you might as well do it the right way.
