Imagine Gricko being high, and then going to Frost and asking him "Would you ever eat a goblin?" with those dilated puppy eyes. Frost answers with something along the lines of "Well, if it was a live or die situation and I had nothing else to feed off of. Then yes."
Meanwhile Gricko starts shedding tears and then looks up at Frosty and goes "You promised you're always g'na stay wif me.. are you going to eat me, Frosty?"
All the while Frost just starts panicking more and more while he tries to explain to Gricko what he meant and that, no, he will not eat Gricko.
It takes some time for Gricko to calm down, but when he does Frost gets him into bed and lays next to him; being the last thing Gricko sees before lulling himself to sleep.
The following morning Gricko wakes up, and as he opens his eyes he lets out a loud yelp; as he sees Frost sitting in a corner of his tent, reading a book. Previous to this, they've rarely ever shared tents, as Frost prefers his privacy (and Hootsie is a big owl bear, even Gricko will admit that).
His confusion fades into endearment as he comes to the conclusion that Frost actually stayed with him the whole night.
In Frosts perspective, he was worried how the next morning will go; so he decided to stay. He even brought Gricko breakfast that Kremy made, which is the reason Gricko woke up in the first place.
As Gricko gets up and goes straight for the meal, Frost has a look of pure tenderness on his face. He thinks that, maybe, he could get used to being next to Gricko like this every day.
