I don't know if you've gotten used to your new home, I don't think you still understand the concept of backyard. But I am sure that as we get everything tidy, you will like it more and more.

This tiny brave girl went with us to the supermarket today. She behaved so well, such a good girl! Luckily, this supermarket had those special carts with little dog compartments inside. I wish all markets had them, because I don’t like using the outside cages where you have to leave your pet behind.

One of this tree’s thorns once pierced my head. It bled so much at the time that I thought it was something serious, but I didn’t even need to go to the hospital, and honestly, it wouldn’t have been worth it, since living in a rural area means everything is so far away. I remember a little hole remained in the middle of my head for quite a while. It stopped bleeding the next day, but the hole took longer to close completely. In the end, it didn’t leave any scar. I even have two recordings of myself in the bathroom, nervously laughing about it.

This toy store is a dream. Everything there is handmade, crafted from wood and fabric, no plastic or electronics, just pure craftsmanship. I wanted so many of the things being sold.

These little felt dolls especially caught my attention, because the matte vendors on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro are such a unique symbol of the city. I honestly don’t remember seeing them in any other state, especially the passion fruit matte version they sell. For me, hot matte has always been pure, while the iced one is always mixed with guaraná and lime.
