STEVIE DOING CLOSE TO YOU AND NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE
Paulo Diniz - “Gósto Aborrecido” (Odeon) - Brazilian head nodder.
The Beau Brummels - Turn Around (1968)
With only two original members left, the Beau Brummels traveled to Nashville to record their 5th album at Owen Bradley’s studio. They got a really fantastic and distinctive sound with Sal Valentino’s moody, deep vocals and really incredible guitar work by studio guitarist Jerry Reed.
Los Amaya - Caramelo (1971)
Rumba Catalana by two brothers from Barcelona. Ridiculously fast, catchy and funky. There’s a very cool video on youtube of Los Amaya playing this song, black turtlenecks and attitude. While watching, I noticed a Los Amaya/Thin Lizzy mashup of sorts on the sidebar. It was kind of amusing.
Serú Girán // 1978
Amo en medidas increíbles a este grupo. lo amo. última de la noche.
Smoke // Everything (1973)
Just sit down and enjoy!
Earth, Wind & Fire // Open your Eyes
I highly recommend this album, it’s amazing, it’s eye opening the amount of effort the band and maurice white (rip) put into their albums. I have too much love for this band.
Cortex // Troupeau bleu (1975)
Cortex makes you feel, sweet voice, awesome instrumentation.
Senior Service - Elvis Costello and the Attractions (Armed Forces, 1979)
20th Century Boy - T. Rex (Single, 1973)
Stan Getz, Scrapple From The Apple
The Jam - Thick As Thieves (1979)
