Titanis would be vibing so hard to Queen of the Kings
Modern AU Tyr, aka overachiever in academics, license in history + master in marine biology, tried politics before giving up because it was too overwhelming, currently trying for a PhD in deep-sea creatures, hopelessly in love with his best friend, addicted to sugar and using funny shirts to convey the sarcasm his emotional repression is blocking
overall a big sweetheart with a lot of problems (like his canon namesake)
Let me talk about my meow meow Nanthilde Griffo.
She only knows her little brother. She is devoted to him. To his wellbeing. He is her everything in this unfair and cruel world.
They were sold as toddlers to faes who want to see human children fighting in the arena. Nanthilde's first memory is a knife in her hand and blood soaking the sand. The audience likes young Nanthilde. She gives a wonderful show when she lungs at her unfortunate opponent and bites and tears the trachea off with her bare teeth.
Nanthilde and her brother are frequently sold to yet another roster. The blood on her lips is the only stable thing.
Eventually Nanthilde is 13. Her pubescent body attracts attention. She is sold, again, but alone this time, to someone who wants to put her in his bed. Before her last fight he puts her in a muzzle, intending to file down her teeth after that. He bought her for the thrill of the taming.
Her last fight is against her brother. She keeps her muzzle. She makes it quick. Painless. And she runs away with the body.
And she prays she prays she prays. She calls the gods for help.
For them to answer for once in her life.
Tresophta God of Death hears.
Her brother gasps for air. He lives. He doesn't remember anything. Only his name and hers.
And they are alive.
And they are free.
They are taken in by the Inquisition. They are given shelter, education, safety, food, and a purpose.
So she does what she has always done. She fights. But now, she fights the people who wronged her. She fights the faes. She fights the witches and the warlocks and the spellcasters to protect the people. To protect everyone. Not to let anyone face what she went through.
She prays to the gods everyday now that she knows they're here and they're on her side.
She can't sleep at night without knowing where her brother is.
She can't sleep at night without the muzzle on.
The Almighty Gf : We're beginning [the campaign I hyperfix on] this week !
Le me, absolutely OVERJOYED : :DDDDDD FINALLY
SO HAPPY TO FINALLY PLAY MY FAIRY FUCKGIRL
This is my boy, Abramelin Majak.
He was born from two lesbians witches straight out of the womb of the one who was CONVINCED she couldn't bear any children anymore.
He has 50 shades of autism.
He is a pure Witch. He sees bits of the future. Apparently it comes from his grandmother Danuta? It's strange. He doesn't hate it. He doesn't like it. It's neither funny nor unfunny. He writes what he sees but most of the time he fills the blanks or the things he doesn't like with elements from his own invention.
Everybody knows he is trans since the day his Glamour only showed him as a little boy (Witches as a race in Lysara are only born female).
His smile used to be jarring for his mothers, then they understood the cheekiness on that face. He is a being of pure mischief and affection. When he says "I love you", he means "I will make everything in my power to see you laugh everyday of my life".
He is a gremlin. A troublemaker. A trickster. Someone who is raised in a theater company, by affectionate mothers, with mirth and glee and care and tenderness. Someone who always knew he is loved and will always be. He messes around and finds out. On stage he is always willing to jest, to cartwheel, to get stuff thrown on him, whatever he deems funny.
He tries to entail everyone into his antics. Often people (mostly him) get some bruises. His mother is tired of him tearing his clothes but will embroider them during the mending. He is kind of a clown. He tries to make people laugh. He loves people. He wants them to be happy.
He tried to learn to play the luth; got fed-up. He tried to learn old wives medecine; got fed-up again.
He finds his purpose by reading and writing. And pranking.
And he will end up being an alchemist, ig? That or a writer.
Or both.
He wants to live to tell their story.
Also did I mention he is the Lord of the Crows, thanks to his mother the Lady of the Crows?
Yeah.
He sees the world and finds it beautiful.
I need to talk about my girl Titanis Two-Stars.
She is from the Ardiguna family. The founder of her kin, Manila the Bold, is the Witch Queen who has defeated and subjected the dragons to Titania's reign.
The Argiduna lineage is a family line strictly by blood, which lasted approx. 25 000 years, thanks to the overly long lifespans of most members (Manila the Bold died at 176, granny was powered by pure magic and sheer willpower). Titanis is the last Argiduna.
She is in the Spider Brotherhood, in which she was raised in by her mentor. At first, the Spider Brotherhood was thought to be hitman guild, yk, but as Titanis grew in influence in the brotherhood it became more and more a coven to fight against the Inquisition.
Titanis feels the pressure on her shoulders as History has its eyes on her. She is born the Witch Queen and everyone in the Ardiguna family compare her to her ancestor Manila. She is mandated by Titania to found Tir na Nog, in order to give her mistress true political power (before Tir na Nog, Titania has more of a symbolic status). She feels too small of an ant in a world of giants. Yet she is a stupendously skilled witch feared by her fellow magic users.
Most of all she is trapped. Trapped in her destiny. Trapped in the web of the Spider. Trapped by everyone's eyes. Trapped in her own head. Trapped in her own body. She's suffocating in the horrors of her own making.
