Moiraine loose-hair-don't-care era to contrast how contained she is upon her return to the capital

Siuan stepping on the road to spymaster and Daes Dae'mar dominance (making it clear she learned none of her subtlety from Moiraine, foreshadowing her role in Egwene's Tower)

reveal that "lady from a fallen house" actually meant "earmarked for the throne" (bonus points for a Carewin name drop) and establishing exactly how the Damodred line contributed to the current state of Cairhien
