1st board - cheap complete set up I bought used online

2nd - board my friend gave me that was too big and had flat wheels

3rd - complete board my friend let me borrow with cheap trucks

Finally got my own board!! I picked out the design, wheels, and trucks, and then decided to put pink bolts in and now it reminds me of watermelon 🍉.

I love it and wish I had invested in my own earlier.

my brother learns korean

I can’t play rock papers scissors in Korea. The counting always trips me up. In Korean there’s three counts and you play your move on the third count. In the US it can be either four or five counts. And Koreans go super fast so my brain can’t send waves fast enough to my hands mostly cause i’m super uncoordinated and that’s probably why I get random bruises that I don’t know how they got there. 

Once, my Korean friend tried to play and he was doing the Korean count but saying rock paper scissors in ENGLISH and I was like ……. ……… WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!??? So I have a mini heart attack every time I play cause I feel like I’m gonna mess up. Most of the time my brain doesnt even register if I’ve won or lost because I’m too focused on whether I did it right or not lol. ah! 

So do you think you’ve adapted to Korea? Aside from rock paper scissors, yes. Yes, I have.

lol its weird reading my old posts. i feel like i was the same person until 2022. this year I grew SO much that i dont feel the same at all in a good way.
