Tumblr censorship starting Dec 17

And all of that will probably be wiped out by Tumblr’s new rules about explicit content, starting December 17. Even if there is absolutely no visible genitals on this blog, half of my content has already been flagged explicit by Tumblr.

This blog will probably cease to exist as it is after Tumblr’s new policy implementation.

I don’t have any words to express how much this makes me sad, any words but… Thank you. Thank you all for your support during those amazing 6 years.

I don’t know what will comes next, if we are going to find an other platform, or, well, trying to make a real independent website. But it’ll never be the same without you, your comments, your posts. Without all of Tumblr’s amazing community. I backuped all my content, now, well, we just have to wait…

Almost all the posts on my dashboard, even those with no nudity, have now been flagged as violating community standards. Oddly, a few with full male frontal nudity did not get flagged. I am exporting my archive in an attempt to preserve the past posts, and I will let y’all know how that works. Tumblr Bans Adult Content

Hi Fam!

Welp, today is the day. Tumblr has officially announced their decision to ban adult content from the platform. This includes erotic illustrations and art, and of course porn of all kinds. While there are definite abuses happening on this website, I feel let down by the decision to blanketly ban the content in lieu of working to resolve abuses. The vast majority of folks on this platform are responsible in their engagement with, creation and publication of adult-oriented material, and that should be acknowledged.

I’ve run this blog for over 65,000 followers for close to six years now (in addition to a few spinoff blogs like homofutures.tumblr.com, fuckyeahtomoffinland.tumblr.com, michaelkirwan.tumblr.com, thegymsauna.tumblr.com, though I’m most proud of homofutures.tumblr.com since this is my own work) and will be downloading and archiving these websites to share on another platform or file sharing service. Please reblog to spread the news so that our fellow, responsible adult bloggers and creators can decide what to do with their work and connect as we explore new platforms.
