"Getting a sugar hangover?"
"Oh you know it."
"I don’t work that much," she pointed out softly, though it was kind of a lie. When she wasn’t focusing on her music, she was helping her sister out at the club. Whatever she could do to keep herself busy, really. She had to admit, she did adore the action of him pulling her closer, even while he playfully nudged her. "I don’t think you’d have to work out as much as you think." Lina wrinkled her nose, dropping her head to rest gently on his shoulder.
Austin looked over at the girl for a moment before shaking his head. She worked herself way to much for one person to handle. Between helping at the club, working on her art and working on music, the girl always had herself doing something. He was actually surprised that she had enough time to get some pizza with him. A little chuckle slipped his lips as he pulled her a little closer and leaned his head on the back of the booth. "I'm glad you had some time to hangout, ya know?" His smile widened a bit as he gave her a nod. "We should do this more."
"Totally worth the tummy ache if you ask me."
Austin chuckled a little bit and shook his head. "I gotta say, it was kinda worth it. That candy was great. To bad now I feel like my stomach is the size of my whole apartment."
"I don't feel so great." Austin said as he held his stomach. "I think I ate too much Halloween candy..."
Caroline watched not very patiently. The only reason she ever watched this film in the first place was to see Dylan O’Brien, so waiting 15 minutes for him to come onto the screen was hard, but totally worth it “There he is” She said, pointing him out.
The boy tilted his head for a moment as he continued to watch the movie as he tried to pick him out. There weren't many boys with glasses, so that was a plus, and he could tell by the way she cheered that she had found him. "Did you see this movie just for him?"
She smiled once more, but some silly sentimental gratitude was nothing to be dwelled upon. They let themselves get hit by the multitude of cars with determined little kids in them for the remainder of the time, as Austin held onto his unicorn friend and Thalia held onto Midnight. She watched as the cars around them slowed to a stop, letting out a sigh of relief, about content with the amount of times they had been bashed from all different directions. She waited for the rest of the kids to get out, before getting out herself, and trying to maneuver around the cars, that were surrounding the both of them. “You just wait until I get my real license, I’ll be speeding off into the sunset before you can even say bumper car.”
When the ride completely shut down, he unbuckled himself and his stuffed animal friend before picking him up and going over to help her out. "Now watch your step, okay?" He said with a chuckle as he helped her out of her car and tried to find the easiest way to get out of the mess that they were already in. "When you get your license, I'm gonna stay off the road." His chuckles turned to laughs as he nudged her playfully and helped her over a couple cars before heading to the exit. "You've been practicing for that, right? I mean, wouldn't want to go in without any practice." The both of them walked out of the attraction before looking around once again and seeing the whole place all lit up. There were lights of so many different colors, that the boy just stood there in awe. "...Doesn't it look great out here?"
"It’s probably not healthy to eat pizza every day." Lina commented lightly, leaning back against the booth and almost against his side. He was warm and Lina was always cold - which was why she carried a sweater with her anywhere she went. "But, I think I’d have to agree. Pizza eating every day would be amazing. And pie. Apple pie."
"Working as hard as you do everyday isn't healthy for you either, but you still do it." Austin said with a little tease as he gently pulled the girl close and nudged her just a bit. She had to take it easy on herself. She was working too many hours on two many things. It wasn't even that late and she still looked like she was ready to pass out. "Apple pie everyday wouldn't be to bad either... Man, if I had both of those I would really have to work out."
Caroline watched as the characters Billy and Nick were introduced - they were the big goofballs in the whole thing. “Trust me, he’s more than adorable”
Austin laughed at a couple of parts before raising another eyebrow at the girl. "He better be more adorable then puppies or something." He said with another laugh.
She forced a smile, not wanting him to feel bad. Setting her plate down, she looked at him. “Think we could go for a walk? I need fresh air.”
He nodded a little bit at the girl and slowly got up from his seat. Maybe a little walk would help out the both of them. "Yeah, sure we can. It's nice outside too."
//i'm sorry about my activity, a lot has been going on but after tonight i should be on much more :)
Fall Out Boy, Dead on Arrival
I hope this is the last time, 'Cause I'd never say no to you This conversation’s been dead on arrival
"Aah!" she squealed, feeling herself being knocked back slightly as the boy rushed into her. "Fine. Maybe a little bit." she said, pouting playfully, as some kids started to surround them. Her brows furrowed a little bit before she realized what they were doing. She didn’t mind that they were practically being pummeled because she was happy to entertain the little kiddies. "I think so." she agreed, giggling lightheartedly. There was only maybe a minute at the most left, so she didn’t mind letting that time go. Plus this was the perfect time to thank him, something that was rather foreign to her. She looked over to his side, enchantment still in her eyes. "Thanks." she smiled, kinda awkwardly, but trying to show how genuine she really was. She wanted to say more but she thought that one word would suffice for now.
The boy laughed some more as he threw his head back a bit as he felt more and more kids bump into the both of them. Quickly he held onto the stuffed animal for dear life and laughed a little bit more. Man did this feel great. When she said thanks, he was caught off guard a little bit as he popped his head up and gave her a wide smile. She didn't really have to thank him, her smiling and laughing at all of their things was enough. "Hey, you're welcome." He said with a grin as he gave her another little nudge. Before he knew it, all the bumping started to stop as well as their cars. Finally he could relax a little bit as he leaned back and pulled the stuffed animal next to him close. "I'm a pretty awesome driver, huh? I know, I impress myself."
Jesse shrugged. What could happen after all? He’d just freak out, nothing else. “Well, I’m dead. And I’m stuck into this house…” Jesse said with a small awkward smile. “Yes. And people… Or, ghosts… Here are crazy, they’re psychos… I can’t be friends with them, agree?” He chuckled. “Oh, thank you then.”
Austin felt his eyes go wide a little bit as he looked at the man and chuckled just a little bit. He had to be joking. There was no way he was actually dead. "But... no way. What happens if you go outside or something? I mean you can never, ever step outside this house?" He nodded a little bit. "Uh.. am I safe here?"
"Um…yeah" She wasnt going to deny it "And even you will by the end of this film"
He smirked a bit and raised an eyebrow. "I will? He better be pretty adorable for me to have a crush on him by the end of this thing."
Austin was one of the few men Lina actually trusted, because as a general rule for herself? She was wary, ever since her relationship ended - men as a general whole made her uncomfortable. Austin was different. Something about him, whether it was his vibe or his general persona, was different. An innocent little smile crossed her lips. “Saw what? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She shrugged, taking another bite of her pizza. “You know why else pizza is beautiful? Because it’s delicious.”
Austin gave the girl another smile as he shook his head over and over again. Being from with Lina, he knew all about her stubbornness and how much she loved her art. A little smirk came across his face as he tilted his head at the girl and raised both of his brows. "It really is amazing. I could eat all this every day."
