I absolutely love your comic!! The headcanon that Emmet was nonverbal for so long makes me so happy. I also love the idea that at times of high stress he’d revert back to that because that exactly what happens to me.

emmet gets overwhelmed really easily. as much as he loves battling he can get too into it and end up overstimulated, so ingo has to drag him home for a nap. he and ingo have matching train pattern weighted blankets :)

Heya! At first, I want to say that I LOVE your headcanon from recent submas comic... I had a thought that the first phrase that Emmet finally said was "I am Emmet!" and because of happy reaction of Ingo it became his tic phrase :)

this is actually really sweet and just the thought of it makes me smile,,,

but this is infinitely funnier
