some stuff i had in mind for roleswap steven in specific (a.k.a Doctor Steven)
i'm open to ideas and like any (constructive) criticism and whatnot. i like writing!!!!
doctor steven is an autobiologist. he is his own patient as well as his own doctor. he specializes more in chemistry but has dabbled into other science fields as well, as much as he could manage to do so anyway
for many, many years, he's been running experiments on himself. from injections to taking samples, even to pouring straight up dangerous chemicals on himself just to see what they do to him. and it's to the point that he's become unrecognizable. but one thing that ties him to his past is simply that He Hates Himself
he's started refering to himself in third person. speaking both as the doctor reporting on the status and well-being of the patient, as well as the patient who's reliant on the doctor for everything
his memory has gotten significantly worse, to the point where he has resorted to writing on the walls and tables of his lab/home just to remember Anything. he's also just hard to talk to, both because he tends to forget what exactly he was talking about just mere moments ago (unless he takes medication to make that part somewhat easier) and also because he tends to zone out a lot
his body has also become so reliant on medication and drugs, that if he ever went sober, he'd basically be dead FAST (prior to immortality at least. but withdrawal symptoms would REALLY mess him up like to the point where death is a much more forgiving fate)
but despite all this, he's an excellent and even a revolutionary chemist that has every capability to change the world of medicine as we know it, but the reason why he isn't famous for it or anything is because he hates himself to the point where he just wouldn't allow himself to have any kind of meaningful success
and one day, steven would discover immortality, completely by accident. naturally, this would upset an eldritch being with control over space, thomas
