Celestial Daycare Mod here!

I wanted to just give you a small update, I am working on the art of Aster I said I’d make for the Art Event at the Daycare! I am just unfortunately dealing with a lot of fatigue and burnout after some unexpected medical problems, so I am working on it in the background while I’m doing other things!

I’m sorry it’s taking this long to do, but I’m hoping to get it done eventually! Soon hopefully!

Howdy! so i may have tweaked three of my characters a bit, not much, but just a few accents to their appearance

Aster giggles slightly as he pictures in his head just a ball of light bonk against The Attendant’s head before it floats off

“Made The Attendant mad, that’s for sure…” Orbit chuckled under his breath, multi eyed gaze surveying the cafeteria. “Moon had to get them to calm down, they were already having a not so good day, the little guy just added to it. They’re fine with each other now, it hangs around, buzzing around happily.”

“ike(like) the seal? Want to see UY when can too” Aster remarks lightly kicking his feet as his tail sways

“Well, kinda…” Orbit tilts his head with a hum, adjusting his hat so it doesn’t conceal his eyes. “I’m sure you can meet the little orb whenever it comes out of hiding.”

“Yay!” Aster chirps as his wings twitch just a little and tail sways just a tad faster

“I’m it’ll like you.” Orbit turned his head, glancing up at Solaris before turning back to the cafeteria. “Lunch will end soon, best eat up.”

Aster looks down at his bowl seeing only three melon chunks still there before he then shoves the remaining three small honeydew melon pieces into his mouth, hands and chin a mess of sticky dripping juice from the melon

Orbit chuckled quietly at the mess Aster made of himself before crouching down, a cloth seemingly appearing in his hand before he gently wiped Aster’s face clean. “I forget how messy children can be…and I forgot that I apparently have the programming of a daycare attendant.”

Aster scrunches his face a little as the cloth wipes at his face before then giggling at Orbit

“Cmon, lunch is ending.” Orbit stood up, just as 2.0 and Solaris exit to make their way back to the Entrance, followed by groups of kids and the residents. “I’m sure you want to do more today.”

Aster gets up from the chair dashing out and to the side of the doorway now just watching the other children run past

Orbit followed behind him, remaining nearby as Moon and Luni ushered the other kids out of the cafeteria, both Sun and Soni having to very carefully move around the kids so they can return to the Main Area, and Red was the final one to exit behind the group.

Aster waves again at Red as they pass him not exactly noticing that Orbit had followed him to his new spot

Red returned the wave as they walked past, nodding to Orbit before leaving the Learning Hall. “Come along, go join the others.” Orbit lightly nudged Aster before he turned to lock the doors of the cafeteria, ensuring all children had exited first.

“ did the sky turn to water?” Aster asks when he looks up at Orbit then looks straight up

“Oh god…” Orbit mutters before heaving a heavy sigh. “Yeah…it’s May, I’m getting tackled the second I return to my post…” He runs a hand down his face before waving to Aster. “See ya later…I’m going to be suited up for the aquatic theme of May.”

“Bye-bye!” Aster chirps back as he waves before turning towards the main area to see if the ball pit had come back and/or color again

The ball pit has returned, now colored blue with an aquatic theme, many children already enjoying the area of entertainment while Sun watches over the group.

Aster starts to run as fast as his feet can carry him towards the ball pit getting to be a fourth of the way to the pit before he once again for the fourth time trips over his feet…again doing a somersault and lands neatly on his feet for the second time right at the edge of the ball pit

Sun crouched down beside him, gently lifting him back onto his feet. “Are you okay, Aster? Nothing hurting?” Due to the sudden shift in appearance in the Daycare, Sun’s look had also been altered, now having a dolphin tail and dorsal fin attached to his back.

“Aster is okay! Sun look very nice, if I say so” Aster says as his tail sways behind him

“Awh, thanks! I’ve always loved the ocean theme in May.” Sun chuckled with a smile, dolphin tail swaying behind him as the sound of kids playing and laughing filled the background as they played in the ball pit. “You can go play until your parents get here, ‘Kay?”

“Okay, what be oters(others)?” Aster asked as he hops a bit into the ball pit looking back up at Sun

“Well, Soni is a shark, The Attendant is an…octopus? Both Klip and Eclipse are Lionfish, but I’ll leave the rest as a surprise.” Sun chuckled, sitting down to keep watch of the kids in the ball pit, and letting a few of the younger ones climb around him like he’s a jungle gym.

“Cool” Aster drags out the ‘o’ as he sorta waddles/near swims in the colorful plastic balls

“Have fun, kiddo!” Sun smiles as he helped another kid out of the ball pit. “Everyone should be picked up in…an hour and a half? Maybe? We close early today to set up some new ocean themed activities!”

“Will be! Water games?” Aster asked as he stays near the high wall of the pit since he knows that he is very small compared to most of the others in the pit

“If we can convince The Attendant, maybe!” Sun crossed his legs, rays tilting slightly as he watched a duo of kids (a small white and pink bear and a human girl) run by, playing chase with each other. “I’m sure many of the kiddos would love if we had a pool or something.”

“We in pool, if tink(think), only balls be gone” Aster thinks aloud as he moves back towards the wall

“Well, I’m talking about an actual pool, this one…won’t hold water.” Sun chuckled, gesturing to the foam and mesh pit, it wouldn’t hold water, it simply wasn’t made for it. “But adding an actual pool would probably cause the play structures to shift if we added something like that.”

“Ohh, not see till now” Aster says as he does take a closer look at the wall he is standing near

“Awh, thanks! I’ve always loved the ocean theme in May.” Sun chuckled with a smile, dolphin tail swaying behind him as the sound of kids playing and laughing filled the background as they played in the ball pit. “You can go play until your parents get here, ‘Kay?”

“Okay, what be oters(others)?” Aster asked as he hops a bit into the ball pit looking back up at Sun

“Well, Soni is a shark, The Attendant is an…octopus? Both Klip and Eclipse are Lionfish, but I’ll leave the rest as a surprise.” Sun chuckled, sitting down to keep watch of the kids in the ball pit, and letting a few of the younger ones climb around him like he’s a jungle gym.

“Cool” Aster drags out the ‘o’ as he sorta waddles/near swims in the colorful plastic balls

*in cafeteria, Aster is sitting in a chair talking with Orbit*[finally able to actually rest and do this again]

Aster giggles slightly as he pictures in his head just a ball of light bonk against The Attendant’s head before it floats off

“Made The Attendant mad, that’s for sure…” Orbit chuckled under his breath, multi eyed gaze surveying the cafeteria. “Moon had to get them to calm down, they were already having a not so good day, the little guy just added to it. They’re fine with each other now, it hangs around, buzzing around happily.”

“ike(like) the seal? Want to see UY when can too” Aster remarks lightly kicking his feet as his tail sways

“Well, kinda…” Orbit tilts his head with a hum, adjusting his hat so it doesn’t conceal his eyes. “I’m sure you can meet the little orb whenever it comes out of hiding.”

“Yay!” Aster chirps as his wings twitch just a little and tail sways just a tad faster

“I’m it’ll like you.” Orbit turned his head, glancing up at Solaris before turning back to the cafeteria. “Lunch will end soon, best eat up.”

Aster looks down at his bowl seeing only three melon chunks still there before he then shoves the remaining three small honeydew melon pieces into his mouth, hands and chin a mess of sticky dripping juice from the melon

Orbit chuckled quietly at the mess Aster made of himself before crouching down, a cloth seemingly appearing in his hand before he gently wiped Aster’s face clean. “I forget how messy children can be…and I forgot that I apparently have the programming of a daycare attendant.”

Aster scrunches his face a little as the cloth wipes at his face before then giggling at Orbit

“Cmon, lunch is ending.” Orbit stood up, just as 2.0 and Solaris exit to make their way back to the Entrance, followed by groups of kids and the residents. “I’m sure you want to do more today.”

Aster gets up from the chair dashing out and to the side of the doorway now just watching the other children run past

Orbit followed behind him, remaining nearby as Moon and Luni ushered the other kids out of the cafeteria, both Sun and Soni having to very carefully move around the kids so they can return to the Main Area, and Red was the final one to exit behind the group.

Aster waves again at Red as they pass him not exactly noticing that Orbit had followed him to his new spot

Red returned the wave as they walked past, nodding to Orbit before leaving the Learning Hall. “Come along, go join the others.” Orbit lightly nudged Aster before he turned to lock the doors of the cafeteria, ensuring all children had exited first.

“ did the sky turn to water?” Aster asks when he looks up at Orbit then looks straight up

“Oh god…” Orbit mutters before heaving a heavy sigh. “Yeah…it’s May, I’m getting tackled the second I return to my post…” He runs a hand down his face before waving to Aster. “See ya later…I’m going to be suited up for the aquatic theme of May.”

“Bye-bye!” Aster chirps back as he waves before turning towards the main area to see if the ball pit had come back and/or color again

The ball pit has returned, now colored blue with an aquatic theme, many children already enjoying the area of entertainment while Sun watches over the group.

Aster starts to run as fast as his feet can carry him towards the ball pit getting to be a fourth of the way to the pit before he once again for the fourth time trips over his feet…again doing a somersault and lands neatly on his feet for the second time right at the edge of the ball pit

Sun crouched down beside him, gently lifting him back onto his feet. “Are you okay, Aster? Nothing hurting?” Due to the sudden shift in appearance in the Daycare, Sun’s look had also been altered, now having a dolphin tail and dorsal fin attached to his back.
