🧡I have a few basic rules on what polls I will not publish, based on creating a safe and welcome place for people from all backgrounds and lifestyles. These rules are pretty simple [TRIGGER WARNING FOR BELOW]:
Don't request polls that use discriminatory slurs about minority groups. I also won't post polls where the slur has some of the letters replaced with the * symbol, or has been shortened to its first letter, e.g. "the [insert letter] word". Simply use terms like "racist slur", "homophobic slur", etc., to have your poll approved.
If you want to request a poll about a NSFW topic, then please ensure it's not: a) derogatory, b) about non-consensual and abusive themes, c) regarding minors or animals d) extreme and/or violent kinks. All NSFW polls that are approved will be labelled as mature content.
Don't request polls that encourage or glorify the following things: violence, suicide, self-harm, gang affiliation, hate crimes, discrimination, bullying, or abuse of any any kind. You can, however, request polls on these topics if - and only if - they are presented in a neutral, non-glorifying way, for example "Have you ever intentionally hurt yourself?" or "Have you ever been the victim of domestic abuse?" These polls, if deemed appropriate, will be posted with a trigger warning and mature label.
One last rule - silly polls are welcome, but nonsense polls are likely to get declined. An example of a silly poll that's welcome is "Would you rather poop glitter or eat sand?". An example of a nonsense poll that I won't approve is "Yes or no?" with no context, or "Make a cake" followed by an ingredients list. It might be my autism, but to me, those are not real polls.
Help Me Keep the Comments Section Safe
🧡Please keep all comments civil. Healthy philosophical discussions and debates are welcome, but let's not turn it into an argument. If a conversation starts turning sour, please just politely decline to argue with them and leave it at that.
🧡Report any derogatory and discriminatory comments you see on my polls to Tumblr. I will also be doing the same, as well as blocking those users. There is no place for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, misogyny, xenophobia, or any other kind of discrimination on this blog. Everyone is welcome, and everyone has the right to feel safe here.
🧡Please don't let yourself be baited by a troll into giving them the reaction they want; reporting and blocking them is the most effective thing you can do. On a similar vain, please don't be a troll in my poll comments sections...I won't be wasting my time with trolls.
