Honestly I kinda feel Dirk! Like obviously June being a woman has nothing to do with him and everyone should be happy for her, but the end of a serious relationship of two whole years because you find out your sexuality is fundamentally incompatible with your partner is hard. It’s a total shift in his life. Even if he IS happy for her on some level and I’m sure he wants her to be happy and wouldn’t want her to stay in the closet, it’s still a major heartbreak in terms of the relationship ending and there being a massive shift in what you thought was your future.
