I KNEW IT! Literally just lastnight I deadass thought to myself "All Time Low is going to play Warped Tour" and I was right! I mean it's not THAT shocking since they have played Warped in the past but it is still funny that I guessed that a day before they got announced.

Wish they didn't play though especially after those allegations that people seem to keep forgetting about. I'm Canadian and I don't plan on going to America for a very long time (I also don't have a passport) but even if I did or could I wouldn't personally, I don't really want to go to an event that supports bigtos and folks who are sexual and creepy towards their minor fanbases.

The scene community is toxic and I'm so tired of it. The amount of negativity and mean girl energy I see from folks (especially those around my age range) is very disheartening and disappointing.

All day, everyday all I see is constant gatekeeping and rudeness towards new folks and what gets me is the fact that some of these scene content creators will go on to talk about how toxic the scene is while THEY are the toxic ones and it's pretty sad because some of these folks put out some really good educational content about the subculture but I cannot for the life of me stand the constant "I'm better than you" mentality and the scene purists who complain when folks don't look exactly how they want them too. It is always complaining, always negative.

And I am sick and tired of the word poser being thrown around and I'm tired of people complaining about trend hoppers, I get why these things are an issue but why should i care? I'm 23 and I am confident in who I am so why should I worry about what someone else is doing? And I feel that way about others too, it's better to focus on your progress than worry about others.

Maybe the scene community is less toxic in other areas of the internet but on tiktok, the toxicity is EVERYWHERE. The arguments I have seen are the same arguments I saw years ago and I'm tired of it and I'd understand if people left the community because of that. I understand why people would rather stick to aesthetics than being a part of a community when folks are constantly negative and being rude to them for not fitting into their mold. Sometimes I feel like even if someone makes a slight change to their style, they still get berated because they don't look "scene" enough.

I don't care about kids who dress "scenecore" or people who dress in 2020 alt fashion because I know that the bullying those kids get probably would have happened to me growing up as well and although the scene subculture as a whole is my special interest, even I don't take it as seriously as some others. I'm tired of alternative subcultures bullying kids in other alternative subcultures like we all weren't bullied for similar reasons and I'm tired of how people are so against progress as well when that is great for the community and can help others build community with more people.

People will go on about building community but it is very clear to me that these folks do not want that and instead would rather complain about others.

There is a lot more things that I could say on how I feel but this whole rant really doesn't need to be incredibly long.

If someone does not know how to diy, recommend them good diy content creators or recommend them diys they can do.

Recommend new folks music without shaming their tastes in music.

Recommend them small businesses.

Be kind and be patient to folks because we all have to start somewhere and listen to others when they tell you things instead of automatically assuming the person is a poser or trend hopping and try not to be narrow minded, we don't know other people's lives and we could definitely be a lot kinder to others.

Haiiiii!!!!! Sorry it's been a while since I have been on here, I've been busy like REALLY busy! Lots of exciting stuff though so I guess I will give y'all an update on where I have been and what I have been up to since I know me dropping off tumblr was random lol!

Anyways, I have been doing really good! I moved in with my boyfriend very recently and so we have been hanging out a lot and have been playing Mario Kart (he always wins and I suck absolute ass lol) and have been watching shows like The Boys which we have recently finished so far and we have been watching 90 Day Fiance (ik it's a trashy reality show but its soooo good lol!)

I still need to find a job and some other stuff but I have plenty of options near me so I'm very happy and overall i think i am doing very good.

Talking about jobs, it felt so good to leave my old job, I didn't talk about it before because I was still working there but the place I used to work at was really bad. The a management was poor, the leadership was awful and the entire building was and still is slowly falling apart. There was so much wrong with my old job but maybe I will get into that in another post.

I'm very excited to see where this new chapter of my life takes me and I know maybe it's a lil goofy sounding but I'm pretty proud of myself for making it this far and doing all of this. I was worried I'd never leave my town but I did it! I did it and it feels so good!

Not trying to like shit on my hometown because it was alright and it was a cute place but it felt like it had lost its charm and it really hurt living there, it just made me sad and the winters gave me awful seasonal depression. Deep down I love my hometown but growing up and going through so much shit honestly just soured the place for me.

I'm very pop punk I guess, i love my friends and my hometown sucks lmfao!

Also another reason why I haven't posted a lot lately is because I don't know what to post about right now, I just don't have many ideas sadly. I know that there are things to talk about like Linkin Parks new vocalist or maybe some other dumb shit Ronnie Radke has been up to and trust me I really want to talk about Andy Biersack defending him too but I just don't feel like it right now, maybe eventually but I'm honestly just a little bit tuckered out and have been lately and I have been spending a lot of time with my boyfriend but don't worry I will probably post more stuff eventually but I'm not an influencer, I'm just some bitch with a bit of a following so I'm not really going to bother with having a set schedule for stuff at the moment and will probably just post whenever and when I'm not busy with my boyfriend but I just thought I'd chime in and let everyone know that I am doing well and everything is good.

Oh also totally has nothing to do with what I was talking about earlier but I've been listening to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out by P!ATD a lot recently and I'm going to have a bit of a hot take but I Write Sins and Lying Is the Most Fun (cut the name down cus damn that song is long) aren't even the best songs off of that album and also that album is so fucking good and I definitely want to talk about it more eventually but that will be saved for another time.

Anyways sorry for rambling but yeah again I just thought I would give an update. Also don't be nervous to ask me stuff, I definitely want to be asked more things because I enjoy replying to stuff on here, of course no worries if no one wants to ask me stuff, just don't be weird lol! XP

I asked about some littlest pet shops I saw in a group because I want to collect more of them and the person said the prices of the ones I picked out so I calculated and it was around 300 bucks which if I was rich maybe I'd be down with but for the amount of ones I picked out it didn't look right to me. I think the prices of LPS are absolutely disgusting and I personally don't care what others have to say.

I don't like saying this but I'm kind of embarrassed by the community because they think those prices are okay and it feels like not many people say anything about it even though the prices are ridiculous no matter the excuses. I don't care if the animal is popular or not, it doesn't justify the price especially for a single LPS just because some sells a shorthaired cat for 40 bucks plus shipping just because it's a popular pet doesn't mean that price for it should be okay.

I have also seen people sell multiple littlest pet shops (or multiple IN BOX) for the same price as just one out of box littlest pet shop and it makes no sense whatsoever. I saw a person try and sell an exclusive littlest pet shop for around 600 bucks! Are y'all not embarrassed or ashamed with those prices? Like these are tiny plastic toys that I could find for a much better price if I thrifted somewhere. They have no reason for being that expensive whether thats 40 or 400 or more.

I get maybe an exclusive one being a bit pricier like 60 maybe because its exclusive but I'm just tired of the price and how so many people in the community are okay with the prices knowing what they used to cost.

And it makes me sad and peeved because I love these toys and I want to buy more but im sick and tired of the prices and people acting like those prices are okay because they aren't, it's like buying a bag of chips for 7 bucks when there isn't a lot of chips because of shrinkflation but it feels worse.

These are small plastic toys that fit in the palm of my hand, this isn't a doll with hair, fashion etc. These are tiny toys. The prices are NOT okay for them. I am upset and embarrassed that something so many love is making people be greedy.

Also I don't want anyone to bully others over the prices of them however I think the prices should be called out and I think we shouldn't let gross prices for pieces of small plastic get away with being okay or normal because it's not.

Happy 17th anniversary to one of my favorite albums of all time, Mayday Parade's A Lesson In Romantics!!!

My introduction to this band was back when I was in 8th grade. I stumbled upon their music one day while searching for emo music (yes that's literally what I put in the search bar lolz!) and I came across this album and listened to it and my god is it a fantastic album! From front to back it is a masterpiece, I don't even have any specific songs from it to recommend because I think it's such a good album all the way through and i highly recommend it.

It is the perfect pop punk/emo album and it has gotten me through good days and bad days and it's so difficult to express how much I love this album and what it means to me. If you love pop punk music and don't know Mayday Parade please give this whole album a listen, it is absolutely amazing and a true pop punk gem.

Ronnie Radke stans are some of the most annoying people I swear like they honestly might just be more annoying than king baby Ronnie himself and of course they all believe that the reason why people hate Ronnie is because they have pronouns and coloured hair like mother fuckers this dude LITERALLY came from a subculture full of teens with dyed hair and that was/is pro LGBTQ like of course we are against him like why are these people so surprised?

His stans are also mostly conservatives which makes sense why they aren't the brightest. They are reactionary individuals so of course they would love someone who is also that way and goes against cancel culture (the cancel culture in question is people just bringing up the shitty things Ronnie has said and done).

Sort of a side note but if a person brings up cancel culture when others bring up the bad things they have done in the past or accusations than I'm definitely going to be side eyeing their ass.

Ronnie comes off as just some manchild and I'm not surprised that he has the fanbase he does since he comes off as reactionary like this man can't even handle it when some teenager calls him out even though that used to be his target audience but now his fanbase is made up of MAGA chuds that cry, piss and whine about marginalized communities.

And what sucks is that this dude can actually be likeable at times and entertaining but instead he continues starting fights with other bands and has Blaire White who is a transphobe in one of his music videos. If most of your dick riders are right wing losers than eventually Ronnie will fade away. Nothing good comes out of having conservatives as your fanbase. Absolutely nothing and I will be here waiting for this dudes downfall once he realizes that he doesn't want to cater to those types of people anymore.

I want to make it very clear on this page that I don't like this dude and what he stands for and the community he has fostered and if you come here trying to argue or say some shit like "but he is so talented" blah blah blah whatever you are going to get blocked. I'm not talking about his music, I'm talking about him as a person and his fanbase and if you can't stand a person talking negatively about him and his fans 1. Stop stanning and riding celebrities dicks and 2. Just scroll on, it's that simple.
