The Horrid Henry fandom on TikTok is genuinely insane, like, why are we acting like Peter is some sort of evil mastermind. He’s literally just a kid who doesn’t even get to be a kid because so much expectation is put on him 😭

Question: Do you guys think Henry started to be okay with being disliked/hated because he realized if he wasn’t going to be loved without conditions and having to continually push back against the label that was already placed on him, it was the next best thing?

Because you have to care strongly enough for something to hate it, and at least they care about him one way or another, even if it hurts.

This is Henry and Peter to me. Henry would pounce on and swat/bite at Peter’s ears, but also curl around Peter with a reluctant purr and carry Peter around by the scruff so Peter doesn’t fall trying to get to high places
