Listen/purchase: Locket by Crumb
I love the bass and the psychedelic vibes on Locket by Crumb. The keys, the guitar, bass vocals, and drums all accent each other to present a a chill psychedelic pop rock ensemble.

Listen/purchase: Locket by Crumb

Listen/purchase: Night Walk by Gold Fir
This single by Gold Fir has got all it needs to make me move. A good rhythm with careful placement of vocals and cool transitions are what makes this.
Listen/purchase: Out Of The Blue by Tuber
Right from the start I was into it. The heavy distortion and cool riffs are make me feel like I’m there at the concert. But then I realize I’m not, get bummed out, don’t care, and just keep listening.
Listen/purchase: A Blessed Unrest by The Parlour Trick
“Haunted chamber music and dark, dreamy ambience composed, arranged, and performed by multi-instrumentalists Meredith Yayanos & Dan Cantrell.”
The Parlour Trick delivers their claim. The ghostly violins, calm piano, and dark themes really make this classical piece unsettlingly beautiful.
Listen/purchase: P.O.P by Le Couleur
Le Couleur brings elegant synth pop with P.O.P. It gives off an 80′s vibe I kinda like, but its not trapped there if you get my meaning.
Listen/purchase: Seven Year Curse EP by Skinny Pelembe
Deep sounds that seems almost mystic. Guitar, bass, piano, all the intruments come together to transport the listener. The vocals are rich with echo and backup vocals.
Listen/purchase: Candy World/Bye Past by Gladys Lazer
The vibes you’ll get will make you feel care free once you get lost in Gladys Lazer’s experimental single from their upcoming album. Its got a killer bass and drums and features a flute for some calming melodies. Definitely worth checking them out.
Listen/purchase: Vía a la memoria by Our Astronomy
A prog rock band whose laid back approach and spanish stylings gives this album something fresh. And I love the bassist, it blends well with the band’s ambient guitar and changing melodies.
Listen/purchase: Lovely Sort of Death by Bloody Hammers
Right from the start, Lovely Sort of Death grabs you with heavy distortion that’s got depth, with a vocalist with just as much depth. And I can actually understand him. And both are quite captivating.
Listen/purchase: Soltron by Soltron
Arroz con Gandules is my new favorite track. Pretty accurate description of my life right now. And its got a latin rhythm that I love.
Listen/purchase: BBNG2 by BADBADNOTGOOD
I can imagine listening to this in a cool lounge, breathing in the smokey air, hitting a drag myself while I talk over drink with my beautiful @mcbg921
Great album, I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
Listen/purchase: Pure Comedy by FATHER JOHN MISTY
Father John Misty sings about the absurdity of life in this lovely piano/bass/drums piece. I love this song and just had to share it. It closes off with a lucid suggestion that really brought it home. (+vinyls...)
Listen/purchase: SALES LP by SALES
This duo has interesting guitar melodies over a solid bass and drum. The vocalist is soft just like the vibes that flow out from this LP. I like it for what it is, a piece of artwork. And...and...there’s a white vinyl...so tempting.
Listen/purchase: Several Shades of the Same Color by Patricia
This album has my full endorsement. I’ll just leave a quote from the Bandcamp page here,
“ Listeners may find themselves deriving immense physical pleasure from exposure to these sounds. Inability to achieve such pleasure is likely attributable to over-analysis of the aforementioned audio content — or to improper amplification. “
Listen/purchase: IV by Psychic Temple
Psychic Temple delivers calm guitar pop/rock that takes me away to a time when I had less to worry about. I get the sense like this was put together with a well defined vision and it sounds great. The vinyl is funky as hell too, prime candidate for my collection.
Listen/purchase: Odyssey by HOME
I first heard this on Spotify on my way to a Truckfighters concert and have been looking for it for like a year. I finally found it and its the good chill electronic that I love. Really great stuff with emotion. Props to HOME.
Listen/purchase: The Kid by Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith
Spacey experimental pop with chilling synths and equally chilling vocals. Smith’s vocals deliver and I love that back up vocals too. She and her single sit well with me but the October release makes me antsy!
