A very old pinktwink of mine, had to give his design a slight upgrade. This is Lexx!

Tiny bit of lore, he is kinda based off the driders from dnd but has his own lore bc he's for an rp, not dnd. So he is an elf cursed by the spider queen, essentially. And he's a religious nut from a backwards village in the woods. Basically leaves it all behind to work for a vampire lord bc spider cursed elves can easily form a symbiotic relationship w them for lore reasons that would be a bit long to explain for my purposes here. And what he thinks is gonna be life long hard work turned into genuine care and inclusion into the family dynamic of the vampire's household. He's also disabled bc he can't walk normally on his main feet anymore, due to the way the curse reformed them. He needs the shoes to basically hold his feet in the right position to balance, but it's as much of a struggle to walk around like that as it looks; he's just insane and balanced lol. And, he binds his shoes and hair with his own spider silk, AND most of his clothes are made out of the silk as well. He makes fabric and cord out of it, which he then makes clothes and other things out of. Anything white on him that you see is just undyed web.

Been really enjoying just doing marker + pen sketches in my sketchbook. I always go back to my sketchbooks when I’m overwhelmed by what I’m doing digitally/need to practice smthn, but even sketching in pencil allows me to be a perfectionist. It’s been nice just using whatever the fuck and having to commit to what I’m doing. Yes I still make corrections, but only at the point where I’d otherwise abandon it, bc I didn’t want to give up at any point in this. I just wanted to feel free, bc I give myself a lot of rules sometimes. Stuff like this gives me the confidence I need to do digital stuff better. Plus I just love my messy sketches even tho they’re not always the best. And bc I was proud of myself for this page (and wanting to fill in some small spaces I had no intention to draw in) I gave myself stickers for a little self praise 😁
