thinking about juri from tamers starting out as a minor character and her stocks levelled up and she became a prominent and even one of the most memorable characters in tamers in the final arc

meanwhile, asuka.... wow so important for the plot... and for the main character... and he's not around

Koromon is so natural and intuitive that even after the reboot, the moment he sees Taichi lost in his own thoughts, he goes straight to him to talk about how much he loves those slippery long noodles stuffed in his mouth.

Taichi tells him not to speak with his mouth full, then starts listing all the foods Koromon loves and how he always used to eat Taichi's meals too. When Koromon admits he has no idea what Taichi is talking about, Taichi smiles and says, "Well, it just means... I know you better than you do!".

He then tosses Koromon into the air and seeing them play, the other rebooted digimon get excited wanting to join in on the fun.

No matter how much their memories are wiped, the core of who they are remains the same and their hearts still remember how to connect.

It'll never cease to amuse me that Mamoru Hosoda and Toei went through a seemingly amicable divorce after Digimon Adventure: Our War Game, and they both got joint custody over the iconic red lineart that signifies being in a digital space.

So for anyone who hasn't but is considering- DO NOT DOWNLOAD DIGIMON UP! It is an auto scroller game where you do basically nothing. "Gameplay" consists of tapping a button to unlock avatar items and gear that does ??? I downloaded for the Tai bonus but had no way to access it from the start (at least I couldn't find it?). And there's a "watch ads to get more stuff" system. It's not really a game. The sprites are pretty but that's it.

My blorbo deserves better 💔
