Bronze Lake (Phi'etro on hot springs)
"So, on my well earned holiday (and with all gil I had mustered up) I decided, what would be more fun than take myself and my fat cat to enjoy hot springs on Bronze Lake. It's not far away from Limsa Lominsa or Aleport, so I'm pretty much at home. Still, I think I lost all my saved gil to travel here... Buuuuut, that's another story. Or not, no story. I'm broke, send me gil.
Anyway, while I am here, why not take my time (which I have much, considering I'm not traveling back to Ul'dah anytime soon with my gil purse, and I'm probably fired from my job at the gladiator guild... and.. What was I saying...
Yes! Reviewing the hot spring.
Lets go!
First of all, there is very nice place to get your traveling gear changed to something more suitable for hot spring experience. I think some of my gil might have just gone to get this, but it's worth it. I swear in Azeyma. Anyways, it's nice space enough to change, tho might be a little nifty for roegadyn or hrothgar. And by the way, as this is very close to Limsa Lominsa, there's a lot of maelstrom present here and a lot of yellowjackets I supposed also, so you would think they would make bigger changing coops.
For me it was good tho and here I am. Ready to tip my toes into hot water of the springs. Can't wait.
Lets talk about the springs, shall we. As you see, there's these tables in every spring (not on the hidden once, that are pretty comfy if you like your privacy. You just need to jump around a little, like a ninja.... )
I think there is over ten of these serving tables in the whole Bronze Lake springs and you can have bottle service on them. Or, I guess, bring your own beverages, but I wouldn't recommend that because there is very good tavern working. They might be looking for workers... I might stay here.
And there's also room for fat cat in table (and you can sit on them, which is nice to just get your feet a warm bath!)
And yeah, it was a pain in my tail to get fat cat to move (It's sooo heavy!). It was warm all around and the listening waterfalls (did I mention there is waterfalls! You can even let one fall on to you and get a free water massage, wassage!, but it's a little rough. Maybe if you have muscle pain it helps... )
In the end Bronze Lake is a nice place to visit and enjoy hot springs if you like nature filled experience. There's a lot of rough looking customers, but most of them just want to relax after guarding duties or something like that. So maybe next time visit Bronze Lake with your friends, take a couple of nice bottles of Ruby Red and enjoy in the hot spring and listen the waterfalls.
Love, Phi'etro.

Phi'etro on swimming pools (The Goblet, Thanalan)
Hello and I hope I meet you well this post.
It has been long due to me to get enough gil to get myself my own appartment and not be anymore lofting in my mum's smaller cottage in Aleport. And as I am still going to get myself on Ul'dah's show business I picked up a small, and relatively low cost appartment on housing district in the city. The Goblet is famously known as the adventure housing disctrict and one entrance from the city is right near miner's guild. Yours truely day job as a miner got easier as I don't need to run from the inn every day (and usually I am late and I get the lousies worst paying jobs and leves). Now I can just pop in from the gate and be right next to collect my (better) leves from the guild. Win-win!
There's also an entrance from western thanalan if you're traveling outside of Ul'dah. But that's not what I'm here to talk to you.
The main thing, and the best thing in my new district, is the pools!
This Adventurer housing district is luxurious in all the right ways. At first it might seem a bit closed, but it is hiding inside the towering walls of houses the jewel of The Goblet. The pool area. And I couldn't resist getting my paws wet when I came across this beauty. So let us jump in.
Some factoid. If I counted right, there is five smaller pools and one master pool that goes from the mighty golden lion statue to the triple fountain fall.
Look at this beauty! How marvelous! Grandiosa!
And it has the waterfall shower you can enjoy after a long day of traveling and adventuring. Who wouldn't love the sound of waterfall throbbing on your aching back?
And what if you just want to sit around and enjoy peace and quite? You can certainly do it here! Did I mention there is smaller pools that offer some more private place to ponder your grand endevours.
And when life gets too rough (like when you miss couple of leves and duties and get yelled and almost loose your job, again) you can jump in clean and warm embrace of the pool and let your worries melt away.
Market board is right there so you can make some shopping while you're at it. And don't forget...
They serve cold drinks and cool fruits with a hefty price, but they are worth it. (I hope, because I lost all my hard earned gil to buy these so lets taste them...)
What do I do with four pears? Nothing really, but how fresh looking they are. So fresh. Four stools on each side for those well earned party after-parties. Or even a normal raid group paevening outs. Lets face it, you need a place to plan those strategies, why not do it while also having fun?
Overall, The Goblet pool area is more than fine, it offers luxurious experience and you can go bankcrupt if you spent too much, trust me, you can loose all your gil right in your own backyard if you choose. We are in Ul'dah after all. Might have to pick up some extra cash, extra deliveries...
Anyone need a miner for hire?
Love,
Phi'etro
