LOOK WHO'S ALIVE!!!!

Yes, I'm here! I'm really here! And I've been writing too, though not here, on Discord! I'm pretty much writing exclusively on Discord at this point but that doesn't mean I haven't forgotten about everyone here. Many of you all have been following me on my Anna journey for so long, some of you since the very beginning, and there's no way I can ignore that!

So, what does this all mean going forward? Well it means that you can find me on Discord ( enchantedraven ) and we can continue writing together there on a more regular basis and every once in a while I can check back here.

I don't want to give up on Anna, I just love her too much and have put too much time and effort into her character. I just think I have found a better way for my writing to flourish. I'll try and check in more here when I can.

Not that I mind the mountain air of Arendelle, of course, I love it! It's just.....I don't know...something about the beach, the real beach, not like the ones of the fjord, just instantly relaxes you. Know what I mean?"

   In silence, Ratchet has been listening. He was grateful for his pal for helping alleviate their arrival by keeping small talk rather friendly and vague. He remained trailing behind, staring at the back of Anna's head until she mentions how Arendelle has been fairing lately, bringing his gaze to look about the kingdom. It was clear they were thriving, and that was good.

   However, he was taken off guard once Anna directed a question to him now. Ears raised, but he knew not to get too much of his hopes up. It was probably done as a responsibility of the Queen.

   ❝Oh, when don't we?❞ Ratchet replies, trying to sound casual. ❝They always seem to make an appearance every now and then. I guess it's because they're always on the move in the galaxy, so it's hard to avoid them.❞

   "Nothing we could not handle, do not worry," Clank pointed out in case she became concerned.

"Hmm..."

Anna couldn't stop her tone of disappointment at Ratchet's reply before she turned her gaze ahead once more. He was busy. As usual. Nothing changed...

"That's good! I mean, you two always know how to handle even the worst of situations. Luckily, you shouldn't have any problems here. Things have been peaceful lately, save for the pirate incident of course.", the queen reiterated as the group entered the castle. "Gotta admit though, the quietness is a bit.....unsettling. This planet has always been known to have something or another going on so...I'm kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop, know what I mean?"

Leading the pair into the parlor, taking a seat by the fireplace, she motioned for the pair to follow suit. "So how long do you to plan to stay here this time? A few hours? A night? .....longer?"

Anna gleefully reached over the table, grabbing the salad and chips to bring over to her side, giggling softly as she does before stuffing her face, looking more like a child then anything.

"Thanks! I rushed over here cause I was running late, what's new, so I didn't have a chance to order anything and I'm starving! And we both know what happens when I get hangry....", she admitted, finishing off the salad pretty quickly. "So, what's the big news you wanted to share?! I've only got an hour for lunch! Details!!!"

Anna's lips pursed as she took in a small breath of air, releasing it slowly as she allowed her nerves slowly calm themselves while Ratchet's question repeated in her mind.

Please , do not let this end in another fight.....

"Ratchet, we've been through so much together. I wouldn't have endured any of it if I didn't think it was worth something. And you are. You always have been." The corners of her lips lifted ever so slightly, showcasing a subtle but genuine smile. "I just wish you could see that sometimes...."

Elsa laughed warmly at her sister's nervous excitement. Remembering back to how much she'd fretted over her own appearance on her coronation day, she certainly understood the sentiment. "Don't be nervous; it suits you," she said earnestly—and she wasn't just talking about the extravagant gown. Anna wore the mantle of Queen like she had been born to do so, and Elsa's eyes glimmered with pride as she came to stand beside her sister in front of the mirror.

"Arendelle already loves you, Anna. You're going to do great." She wrapped an arm around Anna's shoulders and gave an encouraging squeeze. But then the attention turned to Elsa's own attire, and her smile went lopsided.

"Really? You think orange?" Her nose crinkled, staring at her reflection and trying to imagine it. With her pale complexion, she couldn't help but think she'd look like a summer squash. "The Northuldra made me a cloak for the occasion. I'm not sure orange would match..."

There was a strong urge to twirl in front of the mirror, one that Anna somehow managed to repress. While she wanted to always stay true to herself, the young sovereign knew well the weight of her new title and that she now represented her entire kingdom and those who lived there. Which meant that her usual princess habits like stuffing chocolate in her face, didn't seem to be on the table anymore.

But twirling though? Now that!; She finally let herself give in to, spinning in place.

With a soft giggle, she turned back to Elsa, her laughter only growing at the clear distaste for the color Anna had suggested.

"Oh, well that was nice of them. I'm sure that no matter what you wear tonight, you'll look amazing. You always do." Turning back to the mirror, she adjusted whatever was needed on her gown and took in a breath of confidence. "Hmm...maybe a different necklace! That's what I need!"

Rushing over to her jewelry, she began haphazardly rummaging through the contents, making small talk as she did. "So how's the enchanted forest anyways? Settling in well? I can send more blankets and pillows if you need it!"

   Once she approached, he took a couple of steps back as he straightened his posture. Giving distance, yet indicating courage. The most one could muster in his certain predicament, anyway.

   Arendelle... so this is where he was now? He takes a moment to glance around him once again, gaze passing across the strangers who crowded far off with their stares; across the buildings and homes of the supposed village.

   ❝Don't-- call me that,❞ he says as he meets her eyes again, neck craning quickly with his annoyance. The way she spoke to him just then was like talking to a child, or worse-- like she was trying to tame an aggravated pet. Neither of which he liked the idea of being seen as such.

   ❝... I don't recognize this place.. and I don't know where I should be... so-- yes. I suppose I am. ❞

The noise Anna made when the hedgehog spoke, would have made anyone laugh.

"You...talk!" Blinking her surprise away, talking creatures were becoming a common occurrence in the kingdom it seemed, she allowed her smile return once more, knowing now that, while the stranger didn't seem amused, he didn't seem like a threat either. "Good! Makes things easier for me and, well, you I guess." With a soft chuckle, the young royal extended her arms out, presenting the area to the new-comer, proudly.

"Welcome to Arendelle! I'm Anna, oh umm Queen Anna, actually. Now what about you? Who are you and where did you come from? Ah! Wait! Are you from the enchanted forest too? Are you another spirit? Like a sixth one?!"
