From her place seated in the water, the waves moved around her in a gentle movement. While she couldn't swim with legs, she still enjoyed the sea -- even if it was in shallows. This had been the first time that she'd come back to the beach since Jack had given her legs with no strings attached.

"Come in with me, Jack."

“You look familiar...” Not that she really knew why, for all the drama surrounding Jack occurred a little before Buddy’s birth, a year before her own. Did she know that Jack Frost had been banished to the South Pole? Sure, she’d probably heard that at some point over the years, but that didn’t mean she could pick him out of a line up, when she’d never met the guy. “Do you know my mom and dad..?”

“Merry Christmas, Jack Frost.”

Her words fell, gentle and sweet, from lips that so desired to be touched. With a soft smile and a light step, the young mermaid stepped forward and pushed herself up on the tips of her toes. Bravery had been a mainstay within the young woman and with all the bravery within her, Ariel’s lips brushed against Jack’s as hands wrapped around him, pulling her closer to him. 

Snow, with all the magnificent and intricate snowflakes, fell down around them as the winter chill bit into Ariel’s flesh, yet she held little care for the cold as her hands moved with a gentle grace over his back before a hand moved to cup his cheek. There was no gentle pecks or a war of tongues, it was a kiss of lovers, of a desire and happiness one only felt when one’s heart was overflowing with love for another. 

Breaking the kiss, eyelids struggled to flutter open as small flakes of snow pressed upon her flesh. Smile remained soft as blue eyes kept its gaze wholly focused on the man before her.

“Ah! Cold cold cold cold cold.....”

Anna quickly pressed a hand to her cheek, sighing with relief as she felt the immediate warmth. Her head whipped around to look over her shoulder, seeing the giggling fool she fondly called her husband, running off in a random direction before he disappeared around a corner. No matter how many years had passed, Jack always remained a child at heart, taunting and teasing her with his mischevious games, to which Anna could only smile in adoration.

“JACK! PAYBACK IS COMING! MARK MY WORDS!”, she called after him in a playful tone, her fond smile never leaving her face.
