she was working on her case before noticing the child, she smiled and held him in her arms “Hello there!”

the little girl looked at her for 3 seconds and then quietly spoke up “..hi??”

”i’m Maggie. what’s your name?”

”I’m.. Millie”

”That’s a beautiful name! are you lost?”

she nodded “I was with ms emmie” she said quietly

noticed it’s getting a bit awkward… “well emmie is my sister.”

“Woah what…”

”yep! i’m two years older then her!”

”that’s so cool..! Im the only one little, my siblings are older than me..”

”cool! are they girls, boys, or one each?”

”one of each!”

”that’s so cool, so is emmie your babysitter?”

”mhm! Emmie is my babysitter she said she came from California, moved back here recently!”

”can i see her?”

”mhm !!!!!!! Come on! Apartment thiiiis way!”

she realized the kid can run fast and try to catch up

the little girl laughs as she ran to emmie’s apartment complex
