You just want to sink your fangs into something and shove that drainer into a carapace and drain the energon, energy, everything out of the corpse until you were full.

Someone is hungry again. It’ll have to go trotting off to find something to eat, and it won’t be pretty.

☆~ It was night, and the room was lit with little, plastic stars. Stars that glowed in the dark in the pink room. Blinds were drawn, tucked tightly over one another to prevent any shed of light from slipping through. The moon shone brightly behind the veils, illuminating the glowing room in a soft light among the white stars stuck to the ceiling and partly down the walls. It was a place of safety, sanctuary. A place where no bodily or mental harm could be done

☆~ And in the berth that rested against the center of the room farthest from the door, was a little femme child. Nestled into her fleece blankets and dreaming of gemstones shining like prisms, releasing the rainbow of colors onto a lake of glass. Her lips curled into a light smile before it slowly faded as she adjusted herself to become more comfortable.

☆~ But she was clearly unaware that she had a visitor this late at night. The only access to her room would be from the floor vent just beside her berth next to the nightstand, or the door that the doctors and nurses came in through day in and day out. Even now, one walked in to check her vitals, tip-toeing across the linoleum floor.

☆~ As quick as they came, they were gone. Not a sound made and nothing disturbed. The quiet beeping of the spark monitor made for the perfect music box, ensuring that she stayed hidden and asleep in her dreamworld.

[🌱] Nighttime was something the little sparketry simply could not live without. The darkness was really the only world it ever knew, and the sparketry would refuse to give up its life in the dark. Darkness was where it was born and created, and it was where it learned to survive.

[🌱] Optics flicked around in the dark, claws tapping every so slightly against the aluminum that served as a vent. Although it was attempting to be silent as it stalked through the vent, the slightest click was eerie and made for the perfect suspense.

[🌱] Pressing its face against the end of the line, it opened its mouth and gripped the slits of the vent, soon closing its maw as hard as it could to try and bend the vent enough that it could slip out a servo. Once successful at the first step, it slipped out a servo and its digits clicked and clanked against the edges of the vent, trying to find the latch to release it.

[🌱] Something smelled delicious in here, and it was eager to find out what it was and to take it for itself. Its hunger hadn’t been sated in what felt like months, and it would no doubt become feral and starving. The poor child was looking thinner than before !

[🌱] Still, it struggled, the smell of food was just too good to pass up. Being in a place like this, the sound of singing sparks drove the sparketry mad. It was like a buffet, and it was the first in line.

     Ambulon tensed when he heard the chirp and turned slightly towards where he heard it. “Oh, you’re not on the chair, are you?” He asked before he felt along the back and arms of the chair to maneuver his way to the berth.

     Feeling along the sheets until he was close enough, he turned to sit down. Looking to his right and then his left, he smiled softly. “I’m sorry I wasn’t here earlier, Pharma needed me.” He said softly, lowering his head to make it look like he was looking at his servos, soon gripping them tightly.

     “He broke the first optic, so he needed a new one. And so he took mine.” He said softly, his voice ever so quiet. He hoped to get it back, at least. He didn’t like being in the darkness for so long. It was eerie and it was as if he could hear voices. Many, many voices.

[🌱] The sparketry made its way closer to Ambulon, helm lowered and tail dragging behind them. Listening quietly, it frowned. But why not just make a new one ? Why did they have to take it ? Weren’t there spares around ? It wanted to ask all these questions, but it could feel the uneasiness and struggling vibes that they gave off. Just the voice pitch alone told it that it shouldn’t ask questions.

[🌱] Once they were close enough, they moved to rest their cheek against their arm, slowly moving closer and rubbing their face into it. Looking up at the other, it let out a small, sad coo. It wanted to do something, anything, to make him feel better. Wasn’t there something they could do ?

[🌱] Looking down, the sparketry looked at their own digits; fish hook tips and clawed digits, used mainly for snaring and holding onto prey. But they moved to rest on the others thigh and one servo hooking around Ambulon’s arm. Almost like an embrace, but just holding it to let them know they were there. They weren’t alone.
