Be it some questions, dumb ideas, or anything else.

My FanClans but given classes from Mewgenics

Guess what? Remember how Stonestar had a ghost friend that wasn't a cat? Lucky's alive in this one, and her Druid familiar. Stonestar is more menacing now, Weaselstar has more conflicted emotions. Because those two are completely bluntly a pair of menaces now that she can just openly be best friends with Lucky, Stonestar's family can't say anything about it.

Other fun things, one of the Leaders is a Necromancer, Weaselstar wants to find her so she can make sure her mother can't scheme beyond the grave.

Sagestar is a Psychic. Minty likes to get her items that inspire a fortune teller look. Okay, just cards, a lot of cards. She doesn't use her abilities for much, beyond lifting things from a distance. Like stealing a whole pizza. Or moving rocks if they're getting in the way of members in AshClan.

Generally, how classes work for this is that I'm not requiring some kind of tags, but, more so skills you pick up from a teacher or learning elsewhere. It's more learned than just something granted because of a colored chunk of metal that only Kittypets and Rogues could get their paws on. Not to say that there won't be cats using the Collarless "Class". Jesters DO exist, and I'm giving them twice the level up bonus.

Also, for balancing reasons, Level-Ups aren't handed out once per battle to one individual. So, they grow slower in terms of abilities, stats, and upgrades.

I've now seen that Mewgenics is a thing. Yes, I've only really received ANY content about that game yesterday. I've since slept on the idea. But, now there are two different ideas(of which, only one of those ideas I'm thinking about writing with).

Idea 1: The Mewgenics cat bosses/mini bosses but in a warrior cats setting, like their own clans or as a group of rogues. Both routes have their own charms, and things I find interesting. I personally want to subject the Clans to getting bullied by Marshmallow. But it's also funny from the other perspective, just this entire trainwreck of a group of cats, all with their own interests and goals. I could see Pebbles and Rocky Bobo as either siblings, or rivals.

Idea 2: I give my original fan clans these classes and see how things go. This is the one I genuinely want to entertain writing, even if I don't post it. Because, honestly, it would be interesting for me. Plus, I already have one cat who's an actual Necromancer in my Fan Clans series(and one or two close enough to that Druid Class, three if you include the leader who's an honorary badger).

As for why I'm not writing that Mewgenics crossover with the Warriors series that I feel like will exist at SOME point? I don't really have much opinion on the different Mewgenics cats and what they'd even BE like, personality wise. (Turns out, while writing this, I found there is some level of people thinking that and drawing some art of both Mewgenics cat looking like warriors fan art, and the other way around.)

For the whole "giving my Fan Clans classes from Mewgenics, I fully blame that one Necromancer cat for the idea being in my head. Wouldn't really alter most interactions, but fights would obviously be different, especially since the Necromancer cat would be able to summon skeletons, and that would be fun to think about. Especially because she has a necromancied(?) bear, just somewhere.

ANYWAYS, would you all be interested in reading my Fan Clans thingy, but with Mewgenics Classes?

So, the cat that my sibling and I care a lot about is not doing well(we don't own the cat, but sometimes cats wander)

They went missing for a week and came back with an upper respiratory infection, eye infection, kidney failure, and an internal blockage. So I'm making a post on here too, like they did.

Guess who's still alive? Me.

Been working on making the characters for my fan clan project thingy. Currently working on making RuffleClan's cats(excluding their leader since her character sheet already exists). So far, I've finished the Med Cats, Mediators, and Elders.

So... Issue, I ended up with an Elder who's name was Redmist(Redscar now). If any of you are Project Moon fans, you understand my dilemma. Generally because, yeah, that's her name alright. That's going to take some time to figure out what Redscar will be like(no, I'm not taking any intentional inspiration from the Project Moon series, it just kinda happened). Anyways, yeah... that's what I've been up to.

Dumb Ideas from a sleep deprived Sparkfur

So, this is a pair of ideas that popped up together, the second because of the first.

Ok, have y'all heard of Cassette Beasts? If you haven't, check it out. If so, no explanation needed. I've been playing it a bit.

Now, for the first of the pair of ideas that led to the second. So, while I was playing the game and running around Barkley, I had a brief dumb thought of how Rusty would react to New Wirral. Which then became a whole "imagine the Clans on New Wirral, how would they react to something like a Kittelly?" and then just the idea of Rusty and/or Smudge with a cassette player. Which is now more of a "Hey, I kinda really like the setup place of what New Wirral got going on, and like the idea of just dropping the Clans in a place like that, and I like the ascetic of how you record the Monsters.

By the way I like the idea that Rusty would have a Thwackalope tape as his starting one if he were to be in a situation with a where he'd have a cassette player, and if it were a bootleg, I'd say Plant or Beast.

I was thinking about this after midnight by the way. Unrelated to that, I updated two of my things on AO3 and completely forgot to post them here, which I will soon correct.

Sparkfur's Original Clans Thingy

Don't worry, I'm still alive. Working on all of the other Warrior Cats AUs of mine too(at the same time as each other). But I decided to write more about my five FanClans and other details(like the leaders).

Let's start with MistClan's Leader. Stonestar. While she hates being the Leader of the Clan, she has a difficult time refusing responsibility. She may have plotted an uprising at some point, not to take over MistClan, mind you. But a whole rebellion with a group that weren't cats. Mostly because she disliked how most MistClan cats treated the species of animal in question. Hates her family and has disowned them, especially because her best friend(since childhood) is now a ghost that sticks around her.

VetchClan's own Weaselstar, a fluffy gray she-cat who's both given some of her own lives to save some other cats in her clan before, but also is actively hunting her own parents(who are effectively nameless) down for their crimes. Her mother is a ghost, and yet somehow is still trying to build up resources to try again(and doing well beyond the grave). Her father is a failure at this, despite thinking he was actually the one who had any charisma between her parents. Weaselstar is bi, Stonestar and Stone's best friend are responsible for Weaselstar realizing this, while Stone and her friend were fighting. Weaselstar didn't recognize Stonestar at the time, and thinks she has four different crushes, when it's just on two individuals.

Sagestar leads AshClan, a bit quiet, and one of the two youngest leaders. She has to put up with a group of cats that calls itself a clan trying to start stuff with the other four clans to get to them. This other group calls itself MarshClan, and they're only trying to get the caves because they hear that AshClan has access to the best catnip and other similar items.

Next up, WingClan's Rowanstar. Wanted to be a Medicine Cat, but couldn't at the time because they already had about four of them. She's covered in a number of scars, mainly because she was bad at tending to her own injuries, because she was clumsy and accident prone as an Apprentice. But for some reason, cats assume she's good at fighting. Ended up taking the Deputy position as the old deputy basically went on and on praising her for how much she's helped and saved everyone when they were retiring. And now she's stuck as Leader. The eight previous Leaders' ghosts at least make sure to help her with what she doesn't know.

And so, we FINALLY have RuffleClan, and their Leader is Mintstar. Former Kittypet, possibly a honey badger if you ask other honey badgers, utter menace. Why is she leader? She just is. What's her favorite food? Either leftover fries she steals from Twolegs, or frogs. Warrior Code? Only when it matches her morals. If it's wrong, she will ignore it without a second thought. The second of the two youngest leader. Sagestar and Mintstar are dating. Sage, Mint, and Stone all have eaten French Fries. Mint and Stone connect a lot over their affinities with other animals.

And finally, that hinted at friend of Stonestar's, Lucky. What are they? That would be spoilers, but they sure aren't a cat or badger. Unfortunately for Stony, Lucky's impulse control was his siblings, and he's not at all serious despite being a ghost. He's my favorite so far.

Sparkfur's Original Fan Clans Writing Project

So, there's five Clans in my thingy, that's just the roll of fate. So I'm going to briefly go over the remaining four of them(and details about them before I go into each one at a time later when I go over potential main characters for their Clan).

RuffleClan, they have an okay-ish connection with this area's collective group of Clan's StarClan, which I'm going to still call StarClan. While they do listen to their StarClan's advice, they aren't blind followers and gladly accept outsiders(after some tests to make sure they're willing and able to handle being in RuffleClan).

WingClan, all of them are taught basic medicine at a young age, each of them usually have one of their clan's past members generally sticking by their sides through life and giving advice when needed. While it's rare for an outsider to join, it's not impossible, but the process is annoying and tends to involve a trial of sorts to convince past WingClan members to give their approval.

AshClan, they usually get called CaveClan or ChasmClan because they live almost entirely underground. They all sleep at different times and have very few fights with the other four clans. Sometimes they trade herbs to the other four that can only be found underground for other things they want. They're really good at seeing in the dark, for reasons that can easily be guessed. No one ever finds them in either afterlife, but they believe that they get reincarnated almost immediately.

And finally, VetchClan, you know, since I already gave a basic summary for MistClan, this is the final one I'm giving a basic description for. They tend to climb and grab birds and squirrels from below, set up small pits to trap prey and foe alike, and refuse to speak the names of evil cats after their crimes are discovered, even if they're alive. They have a strong connection with BurstClan(which as a reminder, replaces the Dark Forest in my stuff and serves as a counterpart to StarClan in my stuff).

MistClan, for frame of reference, have connections to both BurstClan and StarClan and listens to both sides and their traditions equally.

I'm finally coming to some decisions.

Several things, parts of it being a general update on some names and what I'm calling certain things. You know that FogClan/MistClan thing I keep doing. Yeah, I finally decided on which of those two I'm using for RiverClan's Sibling Clan, it's FogClan. And when it comes to StarClan and the sort of Place of No Stars but not really the Dark Forest, I've finally decided on what I'm calling it in my AUs and rewrite. So, StarClan and BurstClan.

Why BurstClan of all things? In reference to sunburst and starburst. The first because I was thinking about when sunlight briefly peeks through the clouds, and the second is because starbursts(not the candy because I entirely forgot the candy was named that) can refer to a star forming a lot faster and sometimes more intensely than others.

I AM going to be using MistClan as a name for a Clan though, for that more original project I'm going to work on... slowly. It'll take some time to set that all up and everything. And then I'm going to show off the potential cats in the cast that I could follow narratively in each of the Clans(and maybe extra if I feel like I find a cat that I want to follow that at least starts outside of the clans).

I'll... get back to y'all when I determine how many and what the Clans beyond MistClan will be called. Also, kinda realizing I may have been a mistake to put a poll in a read more section. I was very sleep deprived when I did.

Basically TLDR and long story short, and all that.

Would any of you be interested in seeing me finally attempt and make my own set of fan clans entirely separated from the original structures of canon and divergences from it? Like, clans that have no connection to Thunder, Shadow, River, Wind, Sky, Storm, and Blood(even though that one is more-so a gang) at all?

Pretty much, the idea is that I would make some number of Clans, cats and all that too. And I pretty much planned on telling some separate narrative disconnected from the canon cats from time to time. As something I could use as a kind of break from the frustration of all the time I delve into the cause and effect of changes, the behaviors and personality of the cats in question, and the family trees.

Of course, I would plan to show perspectives from a cat from all of those groups' perspectives. Explore and tamper with ranks, rules, and the afterlife ideas. All that fun stuff. While using a version of the Warrior Cats Adventure Game someone made.

So, are you interested?

Yeah, I'm curious and want to see where that would go.

Siblings Clans news, I'm just incorporating all of that into all of my other stuff, the Sibling Clans AU tag will kinda be old and dead from now on, but I'll leave those posts tagged as the Siblings Clans AU so you can view all of that in case you want to read in on all of those related things.

Some alterations to StormClan of the Sibling Clans AU though, I like the thing the actual StormClan have going on with their ancestors and all that. Mine still care about advancing the medical knowledge for the Medicine Cats/Healers. They're one of the Clans(not the only) that don't really regard the StarClan stuff, they'll acknowledge it, but that's about it, they have their own ancestors they'll talk or interact with. StormClan leaders don't get the nine lives, obviously, but do they really need to have nine lives? The spirit guide thing for all of them and just actual wild cat blood kinda just makes it feel like they don't really need it?

I was also thinking that FogClan/MistClan should still stick to the Dark Forest(whatever I'm going to call them as a counterpart for StarClan) traditions.

As per the usual stuff explained in my previous Sibling Clans stuff, for the cats that normally would be in the Dark Forest, yeah, no. Their punishment is different and they don't get to go to either of those locations, they get a purgatory of wandering as ghosts with no afterlife to wander.
