Foggy morning in Acadia National Park

Alex and I celebrated our FIRST anniversary on the 21st. We decided we would head to Taos, New Mexico for the weekend to stay in an Earthship. If you’ve never heard of this, click here. They’re amazing. They are entirely solar powered, use the sun for heating, and are built of tires, straw, and adobe. Pretty much they’re the coolest thing ever.

Here are some pictures of the house. Aside from soaking up the incredible view, we climbed to the peak of a mountain, white water rafted, went to a solar powered brewery, and just enjoyed the cool mountain air.

We had a wonderful time at the @teatrojuarez ballet last night! We actually thoroughly enjoyed our cheap seats and wouldn’t recommend splurging on floor seats unless you’re ✨super✨ into the ballet – then it might be worth the 300 pesos ($15 a person). (at El Teatro Juárez)

We officially have our tickets to the ballet this evening! 👯‍♀️💃🏻 We paid 100 pesos (approximately 6.25 USD!) for the worst seats in the house.
