*Grimmjow just had to grin at the woman before him. Sure she was no Ichigo but maybe a small bout wouldn't hurt, that being said she did ask a question so he would answer her.*

"No need to be so tense, if I wanted to strike you I'd have done so already. My name is Grimmjow Jeagerjaques and why am I here? I was looking for someone but he's not around at the moment. I was heading back to Hueco Mundo when I sensed you and so I came over to see what you could do."

There was no doubt in Nix's mind that if the Arrancar wanted to strike her, the attempt would've been made already. The silverette remained silent as he explained himself further and even gave his name. Grimmjow Jeagerjaques.. Heaven forbid she attempt to pronounce his surname to his face. When it came to this particular town only one 'he' came to mind that would make sense of the excuse. Pieces were coming together enough to believe what he was saying.

Wanting to see what she could do though, that meant he was expecting a fight or bout at least. Well the least Nix could do was give her name in return and see where this would go. ".. Nix Shinko, Fourth Seat of the Thirteenth Division." A lengthy introduction but a proper one nonetheless.. Something that she was having to get used to. "So you came here to fight Kurosaki but he's not around.. And you want to test my strength instead, do I have that right?" At least the current area they were in had a large clear space and no innocents were around. "I guess I could do my best to entertain you in his place.."

There was no doubt that most hit by that blade would somehow be crushed and cleaved in two with ease. "What exactly can it do? Besides turn your enemies into paste.."

Nix did have to admit there was one advantage to wearing a gigai sometimes. Modern day snacks. There was such a variety now and most seemed absolutely delicious. So why not grab some for herself and others on the way back home? The silverette was free of the faux body prison and was making her way back towards her division. Though something, or rather someone, caught her eye in transit. The arrancar she heard that joined the ranks! It was good to see a chance extended to those that meant them no harm.. Though were they adjusting well to everything? Perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to at least say hello.

"Hello there! You're in.. the Third Division right? I'm from the Thirteenth." And once again Nix forgot that one was supposed to give their name at that part.

Nix looked at the vibrant colored manga in her hand, a blonde girl depicted in the middle. Kyu seemed quite insistent that she give this series a try, apparently it was quite popular in the Living World. "So let me see if I got this right.. This girl here is the leader of a group of fellow girls that all transform to battle? And she takes advice from a talking cat.. and someone else also has a talking cat?" Then she pointed to a masked gentleman and rose a brow. "And does he actually do anything in this series?"

When Nix was told that the Captain wished to see her, there was no reason to suspect it was anything bad. It was incredibly rare to see him cross with others unless they truly deserved it. All the shinigami could imagine was likely someone tattled on the fact she was sneaking in some training when she was supposed to be resting. The majority of her injury had healed so what was the big deal? At least in her mind it wasn't that severe. So the Fourth Seat made it to the Captain's office and announced her arrival before stepping inside. "You wished to see me, Captain Ukitake?"

Sorry for not finishing the starters last night. I was feeling sick and so couldn't really focus on it like I wanted to. I am feeling better today at least!

Ichigo felt his eye twitch irritable. His arms folded over his chest and looked at her.

"I'll bite." He relents reluctantly. "What the hell are you even doing?"

What had Ichigo confused so? Likely because Nix seemed to be struggling with.. sticking her arm into a vending machine from the bottom slot. "Short answer? I'm in my own personal hell. Long answer?" The silverette gave up and extracted her arm before standing back up, dusting herself off. "I've been ordered to 'adjust' to using a gigai just in case I need to blend in to keep an eye out for suspicious going-ons.. and also to grab things we might need that require an actual body." It was clear that Nix wasn't at all accustomed to being confined in a form like this and so the adjustment wasn't going well at all. "Sheesh.. I'm not used to being seen in the Living World by people without senses like yours."

*The male had taken it upon himself to enter the world of the living. Why? It was simple, it was to find Kurosaki and fight him and settle their differences once and for all. However when he arrived the arrancar was disappointed to learn that the one he had been seeking was not even around at the moment but no one knew when he would return.

Grimmjow had planned on going back to Hueco Mundo and continue his training there until he would come back but then stopped himself. There seemed to at least be someone interesting nearby, as such he would go and take a look.*

Nix was sent out to survey the town since it did seem to be a hot spot for Hollow activity, especially after all that happened. She was able to assist some Souls in passing over to the Soul Society as well, putting them out of harms way. She was about to move on to another part of town when her senses alerted her to a oncoming presence. It was no mere minor Hollow, this was something stronger.. And heading right for her.

The silverette halted in her stride and turned to see who or what was going to show up. Then he appeared, the vibrant blue hair being a clear indicator of an Arrancar she was told about before but the name evading her at present. Not knowing what business he had with her, it was best to keep her senses sharp and guard up. ".. Who are you and what do you want?"
