I just saw the one about Shoot and Elden Ring. I'm loving that game so here's mine

What bosses would be a fun fight for them, and which bosses makes them want to rip their hair out lol

ohhhh. the ones for Shaw will be tough for me since I played a primarily ranged build but let's see

I'm using the builds I described for them in the previous ask, so dex melee with a little faith healing for shaw and int ranged/dex melee for root

bosses Shaw would enjoy:

morgott, maliketh, radahn - she likes challenging melee range fights against cool enemies

malenia, radagon - same as above but also hotness factor

night cavalry - same basic cool fight idea plus mounted combat

alecto - this fight was a huge pain in the ass for me but I can see Shaw digging it. two assassins evenly matched facing off

bosses Shaw would partly enjoy:

any of the dragons. dragons are badass and cool and she wants to look badass and cool fighting them, but they keep flying around and their head is hard to target from melee especially when you're short. rude!

bosses Shaw would hate:

rennala - not that hard but so showy and dramatic and not in ways that Shaw finds cool

astel - same problems as dragons but also she thinks it looks lame

godrick - like everyone else in the game, she thinks he's lame

gideon - stupid mages and their bullshit flashy spells

godskin duo - don't fit her definition of cool and badass but are extremely annoying to fight

other:

red wolf of radagon - shaw now has a new doggo friend

bosses root would enjoy:

rennala - root has to go more melee on her because of the magic resistance but she enjoys the drama and aesthetic of the whole fight and probably thinks rennala is hot

astel - loves the aesthetic, not too hard with sorcery but still fun

malenia - she'd rather watch shaw fight her honestly but yeah she's hot and cool. rough fight for sorcery though

elden beast - if anyone enjoyed the bullshit final boss it would be root. and it is kind of cute. good fucking luck though

bosses root would find lame:

godfrey, godrick, morgott, gideon, mohg - why are they all monologuing??? why did godfrey rip his shirt off and scream that he was a WARRIOR!!!!!! Root is so done with them. she casts fuck off laser beam. it's super effective!

bosses root would have trouble with:

maliketh - this is just based on my experience in a fairly similar build. that fight was painful. I think it was the most times I died other than for the last boss

both of them think rykard is ridiculous but at least he doesn't go on for ten minutes (I personally love how ridiculous he is)

I'm cautiously optimistic for this. I'm one of the few that support the different timeline, but at the same time I'm worried that they wouldn't be able to deliver a good story.

I'm always a champion of breaking from the mold of a franchise, but the Halo Fandom is VERY close minded, so if they deliver a good story, I still feel it wouldn't be very well received.

Canon Percy: reckless, kind, a little oblivious but still street smart, sassy, idolized but many other characters that seem to be unable to see him as anything but TheHero, literally the only ones who know his true self are Sally, Annabeth and Grover, didn't want all the responsibilities he get and as the series progressed he became tired of it, problably the most powerful demigod of his generation, super loyal, chaotic, learned from his mistakes

Fanon Percy: dumb boy, bro, persassy but still glorified by the fandom

Canon Annabeth: trust issues, abandonment issues, still badass and very smart, awkward in expressing her own feelings but very good in understading other ones, cares a lot about her friends, learned to not be jealous of Percy, arrogant but it got better

Fanon Annabeth: ridicously cool and badass, perfect, sex god

Canon Grover: a very kind and helpful satyr who cares a lot about his friends and the security of the nature and that's why he is chosen by the god Pan

Fanon Grover: original Percy's best friend who however has been replaced by Jason

Canon Nico: originally a child who matures after the death of his big sister, literally idolized Percy, troubled but still fights, badass loner who cares about others but is afraid of expressing his feelings, stoic but still chaotic, sassy but still nice, tired, one of the most powerful demigods of his generations, eyes of a genius/madman, trust issues, angry, misunderstood, learned from his mistakes #2, very independent, happens to be gay but it isn't his whole personality, mostly operates in the gray area between the bad guys and the good guys, struggles to find himself, good diplomat and manipulator, autistic coded

Fanon Nico: Move I'm Gay, depressed, helpless, mean 24/7, loves Happy Meals, Will Solace's bottom, suicidal emo boy, always gay panicking about Percy, or Will, or Jason

Canon Jason: a honorable young man who was forced by others to take roles and responsibilities as a pretor and a leader because he is a son of Zeus/Jupiter even if it wasn't really who he was and what he wanted all along, often the voice of reason

Fanon Jason: perfect hero archetype, blonde Percy but he is bland 'cause he isn't really Percy

Canon Piper: a daughter of Aphrodite with a fighting spirit, love is still important, very empathetic, good with words, low self estreem and struggled to find herself #2

Fanon Piper: stereotypical daughter of Aphrodite who loves nothing but shopping and gossip

Canon Leo: literal genius, awkward loner, humor as a coping mechanism, chaotic, in love with love, autistic coded #2

Fanon Leo: flirty clown, dumb boy #2, a pervert

Canon Hazel: cares a lot about others, kind and emphatetic as well as impulsive and energetic, struggles with adapting in the modern world but is determined to live a life on her own, very powerful even if she's the youngest of them all

Fanon Hazel: or super cool and badass or a cinnamon roll there's no in between

Canon Frank: hidden badass, strongest sense of duty, insecure but it definitely got better, kind

Fanon Frank: Error 404 NOT FOUND

Canon Reyna: a stoic young woman who had to choke her own struggles and depths for the responsibilities of her role so at the end she became tired of this, doesn't need a romantic partner to live a happy life, still badass and strong

Fanon Reyna: ridicously cool and badass, hates men, problably a lesbian

Canon Thalia: didn't want to take the responsibilities from the prophecy so became a hunter, delusion of love with Luke but went over it, competitive

Canon Will: a very caring and helpful person, pretty unsecure, non action guy who is still assertive when it is needed, voice of reason
