Convincing your friend that it's perfectly fine to be an obnoxious expat
Westfield Hornsby just got heavenly.
The only thing I like better than a cuppa and a good elbow in my back is shopping. Combine all 3 and I'm in heaven.
I was lucky enough to receive a divine Christmas gift this year - a 1 hour relaxing organic facial at the recently opened Endota day spa in Hornsby Westfield, Sydney. Now I did have doubts about how tranquil the experience in a shopping centre could actually be... but as I walked through the spa entrance and was led into a 'mobile free zone' with a hot pot of Rosehip tea waiting for me, my mind was instantly put to rest. The spa is surprisingly spacious and from the welcome tea, to the foot treatment and oil selection post facial, I was in another world. Like any good treatment, it didn't seem to last long enough! Thankfully there was more tea waiting for me afterwards to cure my post treatment blues! My only gripes: - I expected extractions and didn't find out until post treatment that these are only done with Dermalogica facials. No biggy, my face was "blotch free" for my dinner date and my skin looked refined, hydrated and radiant. Happy days!
- A few times during the treatment I could hear the centre music over the spa's, I honestly think most people wouldn't have noticed, I just have sensitive ears and I am easily distracted! The spa owner tells me they are speaking to centre management to have this rectified, one of the joys of being newly opened, there are always some minor hurdles to overcome.
Final thoughts:
With 5 sublime, understated spa treatment rooms Endota offers an array of facials, waxing, spray tanning, massage and beauty treatments. Along with a great selection of Endota and Dermalogica products.
I give it 8 coconuts - Convenient location, surprising oasis, beautiful products, friendly, knowledgeable and skilled staff. See link for more details. Sal
