Time flies and you almost forget all about the fatal blunder... Ugh, who are you kidding? You are never living this down. The shame of this incident or - how you like to call it - your abysmal failure, keeps you awake every night. But there is not much you can do now...
Years later you find yourself in the middle of a raging battle. Your allies are precariously balanced between life and death. You are wounded, but can still fight, albeit not as fast or as swift as you would like. On the opposite side of the battle field, you see your friend engaged in combat with the leader of the enemy. It does not seem good. Your friend is trying to get up, but their body is shaking. Their hair is matted and coated with blood. The enemy leader has his sword drawn, ready to strike down and kill your friend. You will not get there in time. Tears well up in your eyes.
You ever just fall in love with the plants and the crazy nonsense they get up to? This lil man just going crazy with the shapes and starting new sprouts all over the place. 💜🤩💜
Big flat paddles and triangles and thick round bits, too. And it’s all started from cuttings from a single plant.
It's magical how you can be walking on the road and just hear the sounds of vehicles and of town birds like robins and catbirds and house finches, and then you make that turn onto the trail going down into the woods and in a few steps it's quiet, dark and cool and you start hearing notes of wood thrushes, vireos and wood peewees, woodpeckers and great crested flycatchers as if you've stepped into another world. I love that.
And somewhere deep in the woods like a cave, a scarlet tanager singing.
I really like falling asleep in the arms of another person, but I don’t like waking up and realizing that I’ve been drooling heavily on their inner elbow
I hate when king arthur has all these fussy little steps in the instructions and you're like "no way do these fussy little steps matter" but you try it and they do. they matter so much.
I thought you meant Camelot quests and I was like "that's fair, 'never pick a four leaf clover on the last Wednesday of the month' IS a fussy little step that shouldn't matter" but then I was like "wait isn't that also a flour company"
