As someone who is bisexual, everytime I see a post making fun of ‘the straights’ or ‘heterosexual couples’ it makes me feel bad almost. 

Guys when you make those posts you’re insulting the bisexual, pansexuals, any other sexual that could be attracted be it romantically or sexually to the opposite sex. 

Its both hurtful and makes me feel like im not part of the LGBT+ community.

I’m not saying that they’re not. It’s the instant assumption that a ‘heterosexual relationship’ means they’re straight. They make a het couple such an awful thing, Tumblr makes dating the opposite gender a crime.

As someone who had to be institutionalized earlier this year due to a suicide attempt. Intuitions are not bad like they used to be. If you cooperate and stick to going to groups, you can be out of there within a week or two. Plus the worst part 1/2

2/2 other patients. Staff is usually very helpful and kind and they don't just look at you like you're a nut job, just a person with problems. Plus the food is usually very good.

I can imagine some of the other patients could difficult to deal with. But yeah, I even looked into the local mental hospital here where I live and it looked decent. I mean, most of the employees like you said want to help you. 

But there will always be fucked up places that dont treat the patients correctly, but that will always be the case. Really most of them arent that bad, shitty to some while being there because ‘oh fuck i dont wanna be here’ ofc. But really, those people are there to help.

Insanity plea doesn't so much look into the psychology and mental health of people, but more the legality. It's stupid, but psychiatrists rarely have say until the person has a preexisting record of mental illnesses and it's written that extremely unstable. Insanity plea rarely happens irl, but a lot in media for shock value. A lot of criminals are mentally ill, thus prisons should focus on mental health while carrying out sentences.

Like I said anon I dont know too much about law, its never been a thing ive been interested in. 

But I do agree that prisons should pay more attention to the mental health of their inmates. Honestly if mental health care was easier to get here in the US, I dont think we would have as many criminals. 

But of course not all criminals are mentally ill, some of them are just sick fucks who commit crimes.
