The burrito squirms and rolls a bit. “Hah! I want it known for the rest of eternity that I am, in fact, better than Starscream at something. I’m gonna get that engraved on a plaque and put it on my desk. ‘More annoying that Starscream’.” She laughs. “It’ll be great. Nobody will ever try to pester me with something inane again.”

Shockwave shook his helm as Saddleback revels in the information that she’s better than Starscream at something. It’s entertaining, but also slightly irritating since he meant it as an insult but somehow Saddleback has turned it into a compliment.

“I will be sure to inform Megatron of this as well.” Shockwave said, tapping his claws against his chest as a small chuckle escaled him. “Such information is frankly vital to the Cause.”

“hey, for all I know, annoyance is an excellent Decepticon trait and you’re just bad at it. If I swapped sides, maybe I could replace Starscream.” Settling into the berth in her little burrito, cocooned and tired and warm enough... “Then I’d get to be your boss.”

She’s already mentally named the scenario ‘Shockwave’s Nightmare’ as she relaxes, vents slowing and evening out. “...No murder or reprogramming in my sleep, okay?”

Saddleback remains laying in her secluded spot, huffing and muttering to herself, venting steam...when she suddenly sits up, perking up. Is that...someone? She doesn’t turn to look, instead relying on sound and the rest of her sensory suite, tensing.

Her spark jumps in excitement and heat pools deep in her pelvic array, anticipatory, and she has to resist the urge to squirm and shout at herself to calm down. Knowing her luck, it’s going to be a rabid turbohound looking for dinner, rather than anything else.

“...Whoever’s there, you better have a spare cube on you.” Testing.

An offering for Sagma - a dvd set of cartoons, a bottle of coca-cola with real sugar, and a bag of candy. Clearly from an underage person asking for as much help that they can get, and they have shared their indulgences with Sagma.

What’s more surprising is that it works in record time, and there she is, reading the back of the DVD box while she shoves candy into her mouth. She doesn’t even unwrap it first. She eats the wrappers.  Yikes. But as is, her appearance adjusts well to it, looking younger, round-faced and soft.

“A’ight, kid. You’re clearly desperate or stupid.” Cronch cronch. “But you’ve got my attention. What’s so desperate you can’t go to the Gods?”

She clings. She lives here now. This aft is hers. If they’re both gonna act like afts, she’s gonna become one. Whining the whole time until he’s back to the berth- at least dense armor means she retains heat a while, the downside is that once her engine is spent out…it’s pretty spent out, and she starts feeling cold before too long.

“I’m lucky that you hate being alone more than being with me.” Snorting.

“Yes, you are.” Shockwave said, nodding and letting his antlers wiggle. There was no sarcasm in his voice - he was simply agreeing with a true statement.

And then he sat on Saddleback just to spite her.

She squeaks as she’s sat upon, squirming and wriggling before resigning herself to her fate. “Nooooo.” Softly. “This isn’t even the fun kind of being sat on…how can you weigh so much while looking like such a noodle?” Trying to shove at him. “hhhhh c’mon, scoot, you’re pressing right on my tank-”

“I’m approximately 35 feet tall.”  Shockwave said calmly, rolling off her and poking her biolight again.  “I have a considerable amount of mass and when I sit on someone, that mass is focused on one point.”

He tucked his legs underneath himself and observed Saddleback quietly.  “Your frame doesn’t seem to retain heat too well after your engine shuts down.  That’s not particularly efficient.”

“….Better than the alternative.” Saddleback grumbles, once she feels less squished, venting in a bit before wriggling to the side to take up less of the berth. “…Look, you know I’m modded to the pit- especially when it comes to armoring. All these extra layers-” She strokes her thighs, for emphasis. “-are great. I love not being crushed to death on a regular basis.”

Rolling onto her stomach, she props her helm up on her arms. “…Downside is that if I start generating too much heat, it builds up fast. A lot faster than my frame can vent it- so it’s a shutoff. As soon as my engine hits cooldown mode, so does the rest of me- being cold ain’t dangerous, just uncomfortable. Being critically overheated…well, I appreciate my internal circuitry not literally melting.” Cringing. “I bet warframes don’t have that problem…bigger frame means better thermoregulation, right? Don’t get overheated as fast, but don’t get chilled faster, either.”

Shockwave nodded as he listened to Saddleback, observing her mods quietly.  His few mods had been carefully planned out before being implemented, so in comparison… The way Saddleback was put together put him on edge.

“It is an interesting safety modification.  I would like to examine it sometime, with your permission.”  Shockwave said, picking up one of the blankets and laying it over Saddleback.  “In the meantime, you are welcome to use my frame as a form of heat sync if you get too cold.”

Bigger frame meant more heat, and he didn’t want Saddleback to be too uncomfortable.  The faster she became happy and comfortable around him… the faster he would be able to experiment on her without her freaking out, and Primus was he getting curious about her mods.

“Well, you have to be good for something on this trip, after all. May as well be a space heater.” Smirking, but...it’s actually appreciated. If a bit strange of an offer, but scrap- she’d rather he be offering cuddles than, you know, reprogramming. “We’ll hold off on the mod exams, though. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer a mech to wait until the second date before they start digging around inside me.”

She cocoons herself in the blanket. A fat little burrito. “...Maybe third date, if it involves cutting me open.” Snorting.

Heat was an appropriately named phenomena, Saddleback decided. As it was, she felt like she was burning up- she was far from being critically overheated, but the energon running through her felt like melted solder, sluggish and thick and molten, and her lines crackled with charge. But not truely overheated, just...beyond her normal range.

It was far from dangerous.

It was goddamn uncomfortable, though. Even finding somewhere cool to lay at night wasn’t helping, looking up at a starry sky, spread out against the cool surface under her, hoping that the excess warmth would vent from her. With a growl, she shifts, only to grind the heel of her palm against her belly, firmly.

She’d much rather be doing so a foot or two lower, but as is, she’s trying to calm down. Not make things worse.

“Stop that.” She hisses, rubbing over the ache inside her. You’re never really aware of your tank until it wants something, isn’t that how it goes? “I’m not putting anything in you, I don’t have time for this! You stop that!”

But of course, arguing with your own frame is useless, and it doesn’t seem to care, so she collapses back again and puffs steam from her vents.

“...why can’t this ever happen when I’m surrounded by good friends and strong drinks?” She laments aloud to no-one. Shame.

Sagma Facts

Sagma may not be a God/dess, but she can still be summoned in the right situations- but she’s more likely to show up unprompted. Particularly if other spirits or gods have gotten involved- she may be fighting against spirits summoned by darker forces, rather than mortals.

Sagma, regardless of form, has a hole in her back. It can be recognized as the entry wound of a weapon, and it extends deep enough to reach her empty sparkchamber (or into her heart, if she’s human). This is the remnant of her mortal life, and how she ultimately died.

Sagma misses being mortal, although she tries not to think about it. Mostly, she misses the passage of time, and simple pleasures- eating, drinking, friends and companions, a job well done. She re-lives these happily when she pretends to be mortal.

Sagma is most often found in places of conflict and warfare- perhaps not on battlefields but in camps, around bases, on the outskirts of fighting.

Sagma can disguise herself as other mechanisms, but is not a true shapeshifter. She can only alter features and appearance to a certain degree, and due to her nature always appears to be law enforcement or a soldier- with the exception of her single mechanimal/animal form- a domesticated hound.

Sagma is supposed to bring luck in clandestine missions and matters, so perhaps best to buy a drink for the lone Praxian enforcer who shows up to parties before you’re about to be shipped off on a mission.

Sagma isn’t like gods tend to be- she doesn’t appear in a peal of smoke and thunder or wait until she’s alone to slink into reality. Instead she just waits until someone looks away- and if they were to look back she’d just be there in the next moment, sitting crosslegged, taking a bite of an oilcake with a low, satisfied groan.

She may not need to eat anymore, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy it.

Doesn’t look like much of a spirit, either. Just a typical enforcer, minibot-class, thick-armored and plain. And hungrily wolfing down the cake after enjoying the first bite, sucking mercury off her fingers. “Aww, no-one’s gotten me flowers in ages...lovely.”

Disposition: Downright friendly, if somewhat callous. Hedonistic when without aim, focused and cold when undergoing a task.

Weaponry: Energy lance, sniper rifle, stasis cuffs, chain

Powers: Teleportation through shadows, ability to alter appearance as needed, supernatural stamina and hunting skills.

Attire: Simple, plain. Regardless of human or cybertronian spirit, Sagma always appears in the garb of local law enforcement.
