Happy Emo Day, ya gays
what he says: iâm fine
what he means: my chemical romance is literally one of the best bands of our generation. their music has influenced so many people, inspired so many young artists and musicians, helped so many lost souls. despite being together for more than a decade, they stayed true to themselves and their fanbase until the end. they were incredible songwriters, amazing performers and everything theyâve ever created has so much power and meaning. maybe they didnât manage to change the entire world, but theyâve definitely changed my life and their music is one of the reasons why i get out of bed every morning. itâs been five years since they broke up, but they will forever be my favourite band and iâm so grateful for everything they did. i really hope the world doesnât forget them anytime soon.
hey @staff how bout you not do that

Sun *sighing + rolling her eyes*: Sometimes I get so tired of him playing the drama queen.
Kala: I know, Lito can be a handful sometimes.
Sun *looking at Wolfgang who is stroking his bazooka while intensely staring into the distance*: Actually Iâm talking about your boyfriend

Brooks Brown talks about Rachel ScottÂ
âWhere does your faith in God come from? â I asked. âAfter all, you donât see God, right? So how can you be sure that he really exists?â âI can see him,â she replied. âI know that God is real. I know it in my heart. You can only believe in what you know to be true. You know your own truth. I know mine. Everyone should be able to find that within themselves.â âBut with most Christians I know, itâs not like that,â I said. âThey think their way is the only way to live, and when you tell them you donât agree then theyâll just tell you that youâre going to hell. I mean, seriouslyâdo you believe that itâs your role as a Christian to try and save everyone else?â Rachel shook her head. âItâs not about that for me,â she said. âIâm not trying to go out there and convert people. I just want to be an example. I want to live my life for God, and let other people take from that whatever they want.âÂ
I took a drag of my cigarette, mulling that over. âYou ever read the Tao Te Ching?â I asked. Â Rachel shook her head no. âWell, basically it argues that the greatest teacher teaches without teaching,â I continued. â I donât know. You kind of sound like youâre not so much Christian as Taoist.â Rachel didnât say anything. She just smiled.Â
It amazed me. The fact that we could sit there, two people on such opposite sides of the spectrum of faith, and talk openly about our differences the way that we didâit wasnât something Iâd seen before at Columbine. I couldnât get over how open and honest Rachel Scott was. In my mind, Rachel was an example of what the ideal Christian should be.â  (No Easy Answers, 2002)
Survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting announce the âMarch For Our Livesâ on March 24 in support of gun control
âââŠÂ Not one more. We cannot allow one more child to be shot at school. We cannot allow one more teacher to make a choice to jump in front of a firing assault rifle to save the lives of students. We cannot allow one more family to wait for a call or text that never comes. Our schools are unsafe. Our children and teachers are dying. We must make it our top priority to save these livesâŠââ
This is so hopeful.
I hate why this is happening, but Iâm so proud of them.
also people who say blocking is weak are so dumb. in real life youâre gonna have to deal with so many shitty people you wish you didnât have to. shitty professors, shitty coworkers, shitty bosses. you canât block them in real life sometimes you have to just DEAL. the internet? thatâs for fun. thatâs YOUR space. you donât have to deal with anyone you donât want to. block every asshole that you need to. i support you.
