ooooo ok thoughts being thunk here
so i'll probably need to look up the oras lore and do more research on that, but im thinking that the tate and liza fic (which i think i might have a title more on that later) instead of them being separated by time like ingo and emmet, they are separated by space.
iirc, oras takes place in an alternate dimension of rs, but at roughly the same point in time. so the idea is rs tate or liza (probably liza) getting sent to the oras dimension.
now this does mean they would likely encounter the alternate version of themself and their twin, and i dont know how that would work. but i really do like the parallel of one pair of twins separated by time and one by space so i might figure out a way to make it work.
i also might have the oras version sent to rs, that may work better idk. because there's (presumably) less available knowledge of all the interdimensional stuff in the rs dimension, so it might be harder for the separated twin to get back.
about the name. i had a wip in my folder that was called "(look at me and tell me straight) have i become a replica?" after a lyric from the song Spectacle by Daisy the Great (which you should totally listen to its one of my favorites. its off an ep of the same name the whole ep is really good)
so. im thinking of just calling it Spectacle cuz the line feels too long. so. for now i think i'll be calling the Spectacle AU!

OHHH THIS IS SO SICK! i read a fic that took place in the R/S universe & it's like what if devon corp. had succeeded in sending the meteor over to another universe (which is heavily implied to be r/s right?) it's originshipping like. having a normal day before the meteor appears out of nowhere and vaporizes everything. i'm not doing it justice with the summary but it's an amazing devestating fic and i'd link it if I COULD FIND IT!! rah >:(
this is such an interesting premise! oras tate or liza meeting the r/s twins... ending up in a world that's so subtly different... do you picture this before or after the storm? 'cause there could be plenty of things there... if you wanted to you could even split the universes manga vs game. (the steven fan & angst enthusiast within me even wants to make steven dead in one universe & not the other, directly changing who's champion... might make a more overt, startling change. idk)
Spectacle is a great name! i was lwky obsessed w/ Record Player a couple years ago so i'll be sure to check that song out. i'm jealous of ppl who can name their fics right off the bat... i've had ones go unnamed for months...
