I’m back from the trip out of state to my grandfather’s funeral and I honestly need to decompress. I’ll be visiting my boyfriend this weekend until next weekend. I’ll be around to meta maybe through the week but we’ll see, I’ve had my mind on more than writing lately and it’s hard for me to sit still. I thought about trying speech to text or something but I feel dumb reading my writing out loud where others can hear me.

{ OOC } I’m going to spend today doing some blog maintenance to get myself ready to do IC content, my writing motivation has suffered lately because on Tuesday, we were given bad news : my grandfather passed away after battling cancer for well over a year.  I’m okay, sad — of course, but he’s been miserable for several months, and it’s a relief that he is no longer suffering.  Plus, I don’t tend to process grief right away, I have this terrible mind that likes to push everything off and then a few months later, I grieve.  So, for now, I’m okay, and I don’t want to talk about it.  I’m going to do blog maintenance, contemplate tags, and all that jazz.  If you need me, hit me up on a discord.

This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-”  etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction.

{ OOC } I don’t know, I said I was going to write tonight, but I am literally drained emotionally from the Game of Thrones episode.  I’m so done with it, this entire season, every episode has made me upset af lol.  I’ll try to get some stuff done, but good lord, I’m W R E C K E D.

You know what I really dislike with like ALL OF MY BEING, the scene where we meet Luna, and the trio + Neville are like 100% side - eyeing her and thinking she’s weird af.  Not to discredit my disliking of the scene, ( you can literally see how uncomfortable everyone is ), and it’s realistic in a way, because yeah, humans feel uncomfortable and their feelings are valid, but all she does is speak softly, read a magazine upside down, affirm Harry’s glimpse of a Thestral, and tell them about her fcking butterbeer cap necklace, and I’M SHRIEKING.  I don’t know, this is just a grave injustice and it makes me SCREECH.

{ OOC } LUNA WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS KNOWLEDGE BUT ALAS, but listen, listen, I need to send you more things and we need to plot and talk about them because wow, Luna and Snape interacting?  A love tbh, we need to write these things.  There is littlef fan art, and I'm going to go stalk for some more, but the fan art there is of them is just so golden.  She also isn’t necessarily bad at potions, but it takes her a lot of effort to study for lkasjdlkfajdsf.  She probs comes to him to ask questions after she conquers her nervousness about it the first couple times lkasdjfsldf.  FREKAING ADORABLE ASDLFKJA !
