I’ve decided to dedicate some time on Weds and possibly Fri nights to be here and write, starting next week probably. Just some ooc mental health bullshit that I am gonna put here. If you don’t want to read it, the tl;dr is I am going to be moving all of my blogs to hella slow status.

So these last few months I’ve been suffering from some serious mental issues with depression and extreme anxiety. To the point where it physically hurts. In recent weeks I’ve been attending some intense therapy sessions which is why I haven’t really been on Tumblr much at all. I haven’t even been working. @killedinstead​ / @caninhisstecd​, my wife has been so fucking supportive of me getting this treatment and she has seriously been my pillar through this really dark period in my life.

I’ve been writing on Tumblr for far longer than I care to admit, and writing here has saved me through a lot of hard times in my life. Not to mention has taught me a great deal load of lessons. I’ve made a load of friends, lost a load of friends and I am sure there are people out there that still hate me for things I did like a decade ago. *shrug* I dunno I guess its just time to move on?

I love writing, I love the fandom and talking to people and even meeting new people. I love seeing new muses pop up and seeing their blog flourish. I love the anticipation that comes when a new show comes out and seeing floods of that same muse crop up.

I have of course seen my fair share of really shitty things here, drama, call outs, that stupid burn book blog that keeps coming back???

A little tid bit about me, I used to RP on myspace and then roleplayer.me and then here. That is how old I am LMAO.

Anyway, my mental health really hasn’t been great. And although I am in treatment now and I am slowly once more integrating myself back into adult life basically by returning to work I come to really think about my time here. 

We all have to admit that Tumblr is a mixed bag of shit that can both help you and hurt you at the same time. And right now, Tumblr is somewhat hurting me right now. So for all of my blogs ( basically this one and my yen blog. ) are going to be very low activity. Meaning I am going to check in here once a week, maybe twice to write some things. Pop them in queue or see how people are doing but that’s it. 

And no it isn’t because someone has made me feel like shit or anything but I just get really negative vibes here and that isn’t good. I am happy to plot and set some long term threads with people but I am going to be replying but slowly. This will help me a great deal in the long run and I am confident when I say I know I can always just come back and be here more when I feel I am ready. As a side note as well, I am going to be uninstalling the tumblr app from my phone so I can really just focus being here, when I am actually here.

I completely understand if this totally puts people off who follow me or write with me, I am happy to discuss things with you in DM if that helps but if you feel the need to unfollow that is fine with me as well. I don’t want to keep people from doing what they want on their blog. If my blog isn’t for them that is totally fine.

Anyway, I am going to go do some adulting aka vacuum the cat litter off my floor because the cat flipped her box last night. I’ll be around today but just know that if I don’t reply to things immediately, its because I am away from my desk.
