greetings sonic.exe community :3
so uuuhhh. my having exe ocs started with this feller! I had a dream one night. the only part of which I remember being ‘hey what if there was an exe but instead of being evil they were just. afraid of the world and not coping well’ and I went ‘wait that’s a banger concept actually’ and made this critter :D
Bloop (it/they) started out as some sorta digital entity - something similar to a shimeji, who wasn’t originally sentient and couldn’t see beyond cyberspace where they roamed (think Monika from DDLC. kinda). One particular day it entered an abandoned computer and encountered a corrupted copy of Sonic Forces; upon exploring it, they accidentally like. fused with the customizable character menu and gained sentience
This sentience has only brought them confusion and overwhelm and made them. afraid of everything, and its chaotic and sometimes destructive antics are like the lashing out of a cornered animal, desperate to impose what little control it can in the face of so much else that it knows about and has no control over. They’ll sometimes pull someone into their own computer and put them into whatever Sonic game they own (typical stuff), or just leave the person in the real world and mess with their computer. Its antics aren’t guaranteed to be torture, per se, just kinda Doing Things and putting people In Situations depending on its whims
They’re a chaotic neutral force who never got to 100% grasp the concept of Caring About People + is exactly 0% accustomed to receiving kindness due to. circumstances. If it were to receive kindness for the first time, that would definitely give it pause (and a bit of wariness. When not impulsively wreaking some level of chaos, they move through the world with a quiet, unobtrusive caution. It’s also quite curious and inquisitive, and does like to learn things - on its own time/terms that is
It speaks with some kinda robot filter over its voice (think Rambley’s voice filter from Indigo Park. something like that), and speak with a flat, matter-of-fact tone and phrasing a lot of the time. They also hiss a lot, particularly when upset
